Best selection of beers in Tallinn and probably in Estonia. Large mix of Belgian, Danish, Finnish, German beers, also some quite unique not mass produced Estonians. As owner is Englishman I’d expect more variety of British beers. C’mon only 1 irish stout?

THE place to be looking for craft beer in Tallinn, go no further! The staff don’t know much about beer (or operating the cash register, for that matter), and their attitude and willingness to service leaves a LOT to be desired, so you have to know your beer. Still, I’m giving big credit to James for venturing into a business like that and bringing all these beers together under one roof. A pioneer in its own right!

Off a narrow alley next to the Drink Baar, which it backs onto but which it must remain completely separate from under Estonian law. Quite easily missed. Although not in the Belgian bierwinkel league this is Estonia after all and the range of belgian beers outstrips than found in most Belgian towns. Good range of Estonian brewery beers too.

James does it again - pucker! 6 sets of shelves, roughly country themed: Estonian, Eastern Europe, German/Czech, Belgian, Ciders, and UK. 30 in each column might even be an underestimate. Quality in most of those is tip-top. Value - absolutely tip-top. Need a 75 of Corsendonk Agnus or Pater for cellaring? Bingo - yours for a fraction over 8€ Ditto St Bernardus Abt, or Grottenbier. Grab an Orval while you’re there. Even after 4500 rates I found 6 new beers. Staff all speak good english, and are helpful and friendly, and are learning more about the beers they sell (they’ve only been open just over a week)... Months later - just bumped them an extra point as I just got some beyond-the-call-of-duty customer service - cheers James!

Great selection of beers in a fairly convenient location in the old town. Decent selection of local beer and lots of decent imports. For a Norwegian the prices were very nice.

A bottle shop selling most of the same selection available next door at the bar. Picked up a few local bottles (although there’s not a whole lot of Estonian stuff here). Mostly Belgian and British stuff although I managed to score a few bottles of Huvila here as well. Reasonably priced as well. Decent.
