A large bar and restaurant. The ambiance is a little odd, one side is a brown Irish pub, and the other is a game room with pool, darts, and more seating. About 20 taps, with four house beers when I was there. The corned beef and cabbage was good, but expensive. Not a cheap place, $50 for two entrees, four beers, and tip. Aside from their own taps, you won’t any interesting beer if you are coming from the Twin Cities. Service was friendly. This appears to turn into a college watering hole late in the evening.

What was once a favorite college drinking locale has turned into a solid brewpub. A few beers I like quite a bit and always good service and fair pricing.

Visited here on Nov. 17, 2011. 20 total taps, and 3 are house taps - the bartender told me that they just started brewing their own beer about 4 months ago. So I wasn’t expecting a lot, but I tried the 3 house taps (which he gave me for free - hence the 10/10 on value!), which were the Pacche Radler (he tells me they wanted to make a cider, couldn’t because of the laws, so this is a peach version of a beer that is close), the Maple Ale, and the Double Hop IPA. I wasn’t expecting much - new to brewing, only 3 beers.....wow, was I in for a treat. All three beers were excellent, but the Double Hop IPA is downright genious. Magic in a glass, I kid you not. You really need to find a way to give this one a try - I had visions of Pliny, and I’m not joking. The bartender was so unassuming - he’s like "hey, thanks for the compliment" when I was raving about the IPA, and I’m thinking "dude, no really.....do you understand what you have here...."
