This place is no longer smokey, hasnít been for several years. Great tap list, nothing super unusual or rare but everything you need. The service is okay, but on Friday/Saturday it gets really busy as there is a live band. Bands can be okay, never great. I would go when there is no live music as itís too loud to have a conversation and enjoy your brew.

Easily one of my favorite visits when traveling through Beaverton. Great selection of PNW taps including a handful of brews you would not expect to see outside a 10 mile radius of the brewery - including some very exclusive seasonals. Played free pool from open to 7PM - fantastic. Food was what you would expect but easy on the wallet. All the drinks were cheap as well - great value on everything.

Not quite what I had expected... Lots of noise (even for a pub), crowded with minimal seating. Live band was terrible and our server had an attitude. Beer selection on draft was the saving grace. Seemed like this was more of a club than a pub. Will all the other places to go in Portland, I probably wonít come back here again.

If you like smoke get your iron lung ready for afterwards. Yes it is smokey. The brews are awesome they have 59 taps and various bottles. The draft selection is pretty up-to-date and very Pac NW. The food was pretty good. It can be loud but also very smokey. It is like they say out of the way and parking it tight. So if you want to check out a great Pac NW pub and a place where some colorful locals hangout check this out. Just be ready for the damn smoke. But the smoke goes all away in January of 2009. Adios Camel Joe hello fresh air.

I love this place... I have to visit every time I come back to Portland. Itís completely out of the way if youíre in downtown, and itís not something that youíll regret missing, itís just a place I have a history with. Stuck between a grocery store and old-bank-turned-jewelery store, it looks like a dive on the outside, and inside itís not great but there have a nice floor of small tables that are lit by candle, and small stage where various blues and rock cover bands play (sometimes with a small cover) and they have a pretty impressive selection of micros. I like to come in on a night with a blues band and sit and drink Lagunitas IPA and Stone Arrogant Bastard. There is a wall of taps behind the bar, and at one point this place prided itself on having something like 100 taps, but now itís about 20-30. All of your usuall PNW and California micros, but also a few rarities.
