An okay place for beers, great place for whiskey. They have a good number of taps, most of which are solid brews. They advertise their bottle list of 250 beers, but for beer explorers, you wonít find much unique there. A nice quiet atmosphere in a pleasant part of Omaha.

A dive bar with great beer, a very large selection of scotch whisky, and a weekday happy hour special of fish and chips for $ 7.75...my kind of place. Dundee Dell was established in 1934 in a very nice and casual corner of Omaha, that includes some other interesting and popular joints. Recommended, if just for the whisky. Be advised that they list a lot of whisky, especially online, that they donít have in stock. Iím sure itís difficult to keep such a massive list updated regularly.

Good food and some decent beers to get you by. The reason you go here is for the scotch. This is one of the best scotch bars in the U.S. period. If you like Scotch you cannot miss this place.

I cannot believe I never went here when I lived close, so this is a place I go when I come back to visit Omaha. A great scotch list is the draw, but good taps and a decent bottle list make the trek worthwhile for beer lovers, too. New Belgium LIps of Faith on tap last time I went to Dundee Dell.

While the draft selection is on the normal end of things, sometimes you will find a surprise thrown in. the bottle list is noteworthy, as are the fish and chips. If you are lucky, you might find the famous Luigi Waites playing vibraphone over the noon hour.

The Dell is an Omaha Classic. Theyíve relocated from the original location (sometimes the rats just get too big), but the new site is even better. This is a place to have single malt. Perhaps one of the best if not the best selection in America. Iím not kidding. Thereís oftentimes a great beer on tap (once I had Floris Apfelbier on tap here), but donít expect too much. The bottle list has consistently had things on it that Iíve seen nowhere else in Nebraska. Donít miss the fish and chips.

I liked the location of this place. Yeah, it isnít just sitting on a main street, but I like that. Lunch time on a Saturday was pretty busy. Seat yourself, but we didnít have to wait at all, there is plenty of seating. The true beer lover should ask for the beer menu for the complete list of bottled beer. And be prepared for some sticker shock. Probably the highest prices for imported beers Iíve seen in the state...Orval, $12, 500ml of Ayinger, $7, 375ml Saison Dupont, $10...ect...the American micro bottles were a more reasonable $4, so I stuck with Hennepin. Served very cold, a detraction for me. Taps were fair, with a good dose of big micros on them, but nothing seasonal or rare...NBB 1554 & Anchor Steam probably the standouts(Lindeís Fram for the ladies) The fried dill pickles were awesome! I loved the spicy batter. The reuben was OK, but I wish I would have gone for the fishíníchips after tasting that batter! My girlfriends chicken philly was also very good. I like this place, but even though they have a great selection, I felt very limited by the pricing. Iím just not willing to pay 2X retail for a good beer that is already sitting in my basement or available at The Still. So I knock the score overall for that. Maybe at a nice restaurant Iíd pay those prices, but this is a bar. I guess others arenít like me, this stuff must sell.
