Poor quality local beer. Mediocre cuisine.

Quite a large restaurant. With execption of one waiter, service was not at all interested in me as a customer. When I asked if they could ring me a taxi they flat out refused, phone was out of order. Fairly large selection of beers, some of them quite OK. Will come back to taste the rest. Food is mediocre, had better. But then, this is Moscow, what do yuo expect. Prices are OK.

A fun place but beware the towers that they serve beer in. They are fun with a large group but essentially end up as a double pour and ruin the great beer they serve.

My husband and I visited the Durdin Restaurant at another one of their 4 Moscow locations on Big Polyanka, 54. We found service very good, food delicious (yummy pelmini, calamari). Several beers on draft. Good atmosphere. Our server spoke English - ask for Ludmila.

Huge place in a faux-19th-century industrial style, with low canned music. The live band that played when I was there was incredible (folksy slavic jazz), but very, very loud. Service was fine (some mishaps initially, but they made up for it). The beers are not bad, but nothing terribly special.

The waiter lied to my face to try to squeeze more rubles out of me, the pelmeny was bland and covered in canned cream of mushroom soup (this is a restaurant?) and the cavernous place lacked soul. The beers were largely mediocre. Not a satisfying visit.
