Might be skewed by the fat we live in GA with lame beer laws but they had a lot of specials brews we want and can’t get there, plus the service was exemplary!

Update 12/09/10: Have added a wine and beer bar next to package store. Rotating taps and bottles which can be purchased at package store and opened and drank for a small corking fee. Freindly staff with growing knowledge. Nice upgraded location for Cincinnati. On street in Hyde Park with parking in front and across the street. Walk up outdoor store front with single bottle beer selection on shelf rows to show what they have in cooler in the back. Service was good and good knowledge from owner of beer selection. Very good selection of brews. I was on my motorcycle and could not take any brews home. I will come back. Well worth a visit.

Excellent food, big beer list, friendlt service, quirky ambiance, all top-notch. The only downer would be parking availability. This is a place worth searching out.

Let me begin by saying if you want an equal opportunity to get every small release beer without having to make a place your home base, go to Party Source. Dutch’s is a neighborhood bar and bottle shop - and the best in the business. The staff and management are fantastic. They’re great to everyone and take superb care of their regulars. Also, they charged the EXACT same amount for Founders CBS as the brewery did at it’s release party, so you can rest assured you’re getting good prices. This place is the best spot in town. Don’t take my word for it; read everyone else’s reviews.

My new favorite place for craft beer. Previously, I only knew of Jungle Jim’s and The Party Source to satisfy my single bottle fix, but who knew that Dutch’s -- a place the tinier than a streetside gyro stand, had just as big as a selection? Ranger Bob, the employee working there who was as friendly, personal, and helpful as possible, claimed there were often more than SIX HUNDRED single bottles to choose from. Better yet, they don’t mark up their prices over retail for single bottles whatsoever! They literally take the cost of a 6-pack, divide by 6, and THAT is what you pay for a single bottle! No dedicated parking, but parking on the street wasn’t even remotely a problem at 3PM on a Thursday. I was so close to the storefront, Ranger Bob was asking me questions about the stickers on the back of my VW. Forget those big lot specialty stores, Dutch’s is my preferred new destination for craft brew in Cincinnati. Edit: With the larder now open, Dutch’s now also sells exotic cuts of meats and cheeses. The larder is equipped with a full kitchen, and makes incredible entres that can also be enjoyed while in the bar or on the patio. All the food is phenomenal.

This is the oddest beer store I have ever seen. To purchase beer to go I had to approach a large open window storefront on the sidewalk like a vendor’s stand. Here was hundreds of empty bottles in sight representing their selection. The salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. All beer is stored in a walk-in cooler which is retrieved upon ordering. The selection is staggering with dozens of beers I wanted. Adjacent to this shop is the bar with 6 quality taps and the huge bottle selection. It’s quite small and intimate. Growlers are available on this side. Fantastic selection, outstanding service, and a pleasantly odd concept.

This used to be one of the little known stops to pick up beers that were selling out at other places in the city. Since they added the bar and outdoor patio, this has become a frequent stop for our regular gathering. The bar offers eight rotating taps that focus only on craft beer. Any bottle they carry is also available for on site consumption. They employees know about and appreciate craft beer. The patio is a nice touch in the late summer/early fall. I give them extra marks because they are always looking to make a good thing even better. Added gourmet meats, cheese and other food items. Some are pricey, but great quality.

Small, cramped looking storefront with bottles everywhere. They have an empty bottle of every beer they carry, and they line the back wall, shelves in the front, and the countertop. The service is excellent. They know their beer, and can find anything they have. They are friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. This is a very unique beer store, but the selection is top notch and the service is great. If I lived in the area, I would be back often.

Stopped in on a Saturday morning. Street parking only. I got a look at the bottle selection, and it is quite extensive, but I was here more for the taps. There are only 8 taps, but they are well thought out and all were very good beers. They were having a bit of a Madtree Tap takeover that day. The service, Drsilverworm himself, as well as the owner and one other lady, were all very helpful and attentive. I felt very welcome here. The bar/restaurant area definitely looks like it’s part of a high end restaurant and the food I saw coming out fit in nicely. Probably should have eaten here. Anyway, the pricing was great, the only way it could be better is if it was free. Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area.
