This place is great, knowledgable staff, super friendly, and very helpful. the prices are average. It is really a store and a bar. The walk up storefront is great, but a tad overwhelming. The bar is modern and sharp. Good environment.

Dutch’s has become one of the best beer bars in the city. While the selection is by no means limitless, they seem to care about what they serve to their customers. Their 8 taps rotate regularly and are always served in the proper glassware, and at a fair price. The have special beer tappings on a regular basis. The bar is a great but so is the outdoor patio area complete with a bocce ball court. The other great thing about Dutch’s is the fantastic selection of bottles to go. Just walk up on the sidewalk and choose whatever you’d like. Parking can be a bit of pain, but it’s well worth it to make Dutch’s a regular stop for great beer in Cincinnati.

This used to be one of the little known stops to pick up beers that were selling out at other places in the city. Since they added the bar and outdoor patio, this has become a frequent stop for our regular gathering. The bar offers eight rotating taps that focus only on craft beer. Any bottle they carry is also available for on site consumption. They employees know about and appreciate craft beer. The patio is a nice touch in the late summer/early fall. I give them extra marks because they are always looking to make a good thing even better.
Added gourmet meats, cheese and other food items. Some are pricey, but great quality.

Interesting set up, but not a fan of it. Empty bottles line the sidewalk, they either filled with rocks or faded by the sun, ugly. A decent selection of stuff, I was shocked to see Tallgrass tallboys and Rockmill bombers. Service was good, the guy knew his stuff but he was a bit overly nice.

My new favorite place for craft beer. Previously, I only knew of Jungle Jim’s and The Party Source to satisfy my single bottle fix, but who knew that Dutch’s -- a place the tinier than a streetside gyro stand, had just as big as a selection? Ranger Bob, the employee working there who was as friendly, personal, and helpful as possible, claimed there were often more than SIX HUNDRED single bottles to choose from. Better yet, they don’t mark up their prices over retail for single bottles whatsoever! They literally take the cost of a 6-pack, divide by 6, and THAT is what you pay for a single bottle! No dedicated parking, but parking on the street wasn’t even remotely a problem at 3PM on a Thursday. I was so close to the storefront, Ranger Bob was asking me questions about the stickers on the back of my VW. Forget those big lot specialty stores, Dutch’s is my preferred new destination for craft brew in Cincinnati. Edit: With the larder now open, Dutch’s now also sells exotic cuts of meats and cheeses. The larder is equipped with a full kitchen, and makes incredible entres that can also be enjoyed while in the bar or on the patio. All the food is phenomenal.

Dutch’s is located on Erie in the busy Hyde Park Neighborhood of Cincinnati. There is a deli (Larder) with wine for sale, a patio, a bar, and a bottle stand. There are 8 taps with maybe the most interesting selections in town at any given time. There isn’t a whole lot of room in the bar area, so it gets pretty packed on a Saturday night. The bottle window displays empties of everything available, which is back in the cooler. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This place is awesome. Maybe my favorite all-around stop in Cincinnati.

An interesting place like no other that I have ever been to. A walk up street front beer store. All beers are presented on the wall, you make your selections and they are pulled from the fridge in the back. Very good selection. The only downfall is the parking and the traffic in the area. If your in the area, it’s worth the stop.

Update 12/09/10: Have added a wine and beer bar next to package store. Rotating taps and bottles which can be purchased at package store and opened and drank for a small corking fee. Freindly staff with growing knowledge. Nice upgraded location for Cincinnati.
On street in Hyde Park with parking in front and across the street. Walk up outdoor store front with single bottle beer selection on shelf rows to show what they have in cooler in the back. Service was good and good knowledge from owner of beer selection. Very good selection of brews. I was on my motorcycle and could not take any brews home. I will come back. Well worth a visit.
