100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 Gig2828 (2) , | April 28, 2013 Might be skewed by the fat we live in GA with lame beer laws but they had a lot of specials brews we want and can’t get there, plus the service was exemplary! | 84 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 midwestbeerguy (28) Ohio | November 27, 2012| Updated December 29, 2012 I think they have most of the standard stuff with a few hard to find things. It was hard to tell because they are like a street vendor so half the selection is on a wall on the other side and the other half is at your knees with other people in the way so you cannot see. It is even harder to see at night and parking is a bitch. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20 Capa (248) Manama, Bahrain | November 23, 2012| Updated December 29, 2012 Small, odd, classy, bocce. That about sums this place up. The bar/restaurant has a nice long bar and some communal seating. Upscale decor that gives the place a quiet cool feel. Outdoor space has a few tables, a firepit for the evenings and cool afternoons, and a bocce ball court- which is always nice. Eight taps but they were all high quality so the limited taps isn’t that big of a deal. Large bottle selection/shop that opens to the street in what has to be the oddest bottle shop setup I’ve ever seen. Very neat, though. A few ciders on the menu, too, which was nice. Good selection of wine for the non-beer drinkers. Would frequent the place if I lived nearby. | 92 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 18/20 GTAEgeek (103) Atlanta, Georgia | September 5, 2012| Updated January 3, 2013 Small, cramped looking storefront with bottles everywhere. They have an empty bottle of every beer they carry, and they line the back wall, shelves in the front, and the countertop. The service is excellent. They know their beer, and can find anything they have. They are friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. This is a very unique beer store, but the selection is top notch and the service is great. If I lived in the area, I would be back often. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 weihenweizen (93) Charleston Area, West Virginia | September 1, 2012| Updated January 3, 2013 Parking was a little challenging. Looks like a hotdog strand, but who cares. Empty bottles on display, so you know what they have in the back. All of the beer seems to be refrigerated. I talked to one of the owners and a girl that was working there and both were very nice. Brought a list and they had several bottles, plus they suggested some beers I was additional interested in. Had some Fantome I have been looking for. Selection was a little limited, but quality brews. Service was good and so were prices. I will be back when in the area. | 94 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 18/20 mikem409 (161) bloomfield, Michigan | July 23, 2012| Updated July 24, 2012 Came with b3shine. Nice little place had a tap take over and nice bottle selection | 94 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 NachlamSie (447) Tennessee | May 19, 2012| Updated July 24, 2012 This is the oddest beer store I have ever seen. To purchase beer to go I had to approach a large open window storefront on the sidewalk like a vendor’s stand. Here was hundreds of empty bottles in sight representing their selection. The salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. All beer is stored in a walk-in cooler which is retrieved upon ordering. The selection is staggering with dozens of beers I wanted. Adjacent to this shop is the bar with 6 quality taps and the huge bottle selection. It’s quite small and intimate. Growlers are available on this side. Fantastic selection, outstanding service, and a pleasantly odd concept. | 94 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 19/20 b3shine (178) Cincinnati, Ohio | March 5, 2012| Updated December 4, 2012 Let me begin by saying if you want an equal opportunity to get every small release beer without having to make a place your home base, go to Party Source. Dutch’s is a neighborhood bar and bottle shop - and the best in the business. The staff and management are fantastic. They’re great to everyone and take superb care of their regulars. Also, they charged the EXACT same amount for Founders CBS as the brewery did at it’s release party, so you can rest assured you’re getting good prices. This place is the best spot in town. Don’t take my word for it; read everyone else’s reviews.
| 86 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 Drewsky (12) Cincinnati, Ohio | February 15, 2012| Updated December 4, 2012 By far the best selection in the city of Cincinnati!! The guys really seem to know there beer here. Always go there for the beer you just can’t seem to find. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 Chudwick (59) Taylor Mill, Kentucky | December 18, 2011| Updated December 4, 2012 considering this is Ohio and they have an ABV limit, this place had a nice selection. The bartender at hand was knowledgeable, but a little antagonistic about college sports teams from Kentucky. For an urban setting, the pricing was reasonable. Ambiance was a little snobbish (wine-folk) but friendly nonetheless. I’d love to go back but this time with a game plan. |
