Stop #3 of my birthday beer tour. Kind of surprised at the high ratings here. The 3 or 4 beers on tap that were theirs were just not good. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was great. I am sure the food is good but I already ate. If Iím in the area I will give it another shot.

Beer Quality// very good
Beer Philosophy// ever-rotating line-up of four to six beers; broadest range of styles of any brewer in the Philadelphia area; focus on experimentation, but also will brew tradition English styles
Serving Sizes// 13oz/20oz; no flights, but you can try a taste before ordering
Growler Situation// will fill theirs or others
Food Situation// flatbreads; local, sustainable ingredients
Ambiance// spacious; two floors in a city corner row-house; open layout; no tvís
Overall// Earth is the second beer venture from Tim of Heavyweight (NJ) fame, so you know the beers are going to be solid; Earth has cultivated a neighborhood vibe that always lives up to expectations

Itís hard to imagine that a brewpub could be this good this consistently. There are usually four house beers on tap and always three or four are outstanding. I took my students from Drexel Universityís Beer Fundamentals class to visit. They were impressed and I am too.

Stopped by here once with Linh for some drinks. Really wish you could do samples or even half-pints of their stuff, as we can only get here via car - thus someone has to drive afterwards. Will def stop by again to check out their stuff.

Stopped in on a sunday afternoon...pretty quiet in there but the service was awesome and the white and black flatbread was outstanding. Beers were decent but not great but they constantly rotate so Id try more. guest drafts were mostly victory. Prices were good...id probably pay a few bucks more for that flatbread knowing how damn good it is.

Nice warm and welcoming brewpub. Before my visit at Earth I always thought that the best combination brewpub + pizza was American Flatbread in Burlington. Now Iím not sure anymore. The beers at Earth are of the highest quality and the Pizza I had was out of this world. The man behind the brews at Earth is the man that was behind the brews of former mythic Heavyweight Brewery, so it is not surprise that the brews are very good. They had around 4 to 6 of their beers on tap but I think they usually have more than that. This is a true brewpub, I donít think they have guess taps, Earth brews only. The flatbread pizzas are creative and excellent, even if a bit expensive. The place itself is nothing too fancy, standard decoration, two floors, sit about 100. With such a good pizza+beer combo, this place is high on my list of places I want to go back to.

Earth is fantastic:
Ambience: Constantly rotating local art, a wood-fire oven, some cool large tree like tables, 2 floors/bars, candles, and 0 TVís all make for a great ambiance.
Selection: The house beers are usually pretty solid and there is usually a brew on cask. If they donít do it for you the guest list is always great which is heavy on the local brewers.
Food: Wonderful. The flatbreads are amazing. So is the soups, appetisers, and deserts... they even have a desert pizza.
Value: Solid. With $10 growler nights, happy hours, discounted food for Arcadia (the local college) students, and $2 kick the keg beers it is very affordable.
Overall: One of my favorite places. The only thing I would change is for more of the UK style ales to be served on the hand pump.

Visited early evening on a Monday night, the first floor was closed, though the upstairs bar and restaurant area were open. Bar has 4-5 seats, large bar tables and other tables throughout the area. Service was immediate, super friendly, and spot on knowledgeable. I had 2 of the 4 of the house beers that were on, and they were perfect to style, and very fresh. There was also a nice selection of guest drafts. I didnít eat, but the flat breads all looked great. I had a great conversation with the bartender, and one of the regulars. I loved this place.
88 = ★★★★ (best in area, a must for locals and visitors)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.

As a Dad with 9 month old twins my review is different than the 29 year old single dude... but Iíve been there. Now, a place like this is a treat. It wasnít crowded early on a Saturday. Waitress was a bit slow but the other help was sharp. Food, comfortable and tasty, not extravigant but met expectations. Beer, better than expected. The Alt was very nice, Scotch Heavy, a bit sweet but I prefer a malty brew. Growler prices were better than expected as well. Would return and I actually think my wife might suggest it as well. kids did well and were kept awake by the livliness.
