Old: Very small brewery, but they where brewing, and the smell was excellent. Then got to taste 2 beers at the bar. The shop is very small, but they have some beers of different countryís. Beers that I didnít ever see in any shop here, so i bought like a dozen of beers to taste.
Edit:Had to change this review, and give some more points after the excellent beerfestival we had. Edit 2: Had to decrease a bit. Prices seems to rise, and we were a bit disappointed cause some little thing... And the shop is in the meanwhile bigger then the first time I was there.Still a very good selection also ofcourse.

Did a ítourí/tasting with a group of friends here. Perfect atmosphere to taste beer here. Beer offerings obviously based on their own brews. The little shop has high-rated imports as well, which can be expensive though. The restaurant serves well-prepared and tasty dishes that go well with their brews. Happy to let you visit their beer shop even after dinner.

Suddenly in the middle of a dutch village , a windmill comes into your view, the place feels warm rustic and not overly decorated, you can see the brewery from the dining area. The brewer and and chef were very talktive and we had a friendly chat, they served and explained evey thing that was on tap. I did not try the food, but the menu looks like a godd partner to the excellent beer. Very much hope to come here again.

Nice decor to this place. the have a nice outside patio and an inside that is very rustic and has a nice ambiance. The service is a little slow to north american standards but that seemed to be a typical european service here. Definitely a premier stop for any beer lover. They do serve samples of the beers which was quite nice. Had a very nice time here. Recommend a stop. Also the chicken club was really good. Very unique if you ask me. The bottle shop here is very nice too. Lots of selection of their beers and some american craft. Also saw the westy 12 here

Amazing beer shop with beers that are quite hard to get in NL. Maybe itís a little bit expensive, but itís almost imposible to compare the prices of these beers to other stores.
Great variety. Some beer are a bit too exposed to sunlight, standing directly in front of the window.
Visited during the festival so some of the staff were temporary volunteers. Iíve heard some of the staff working there on regular days doesnít know too much about the beers. Everyone kept cool even though it was quite a busy day. The place looks nice and authentic. If it was closer to my home i would visit it more often. Be sure to bring enough money because itís so hard to pick. A true candystore for beerlovers.

Visited during the BBF 2011. The ambience surrounding the mill is very nice. Very rustic and true to Bodegravenís rural setting. The beer selection was really excellent. Of course there were lots of specialties from the different breweries attending the Beer Festival, but the other stuff was also impressive. Of course a good selection of De Molen beers, but also Danish (I bought my long-time want Amager MurpHill), Belgians like Struise and Westvleteren, a good selection of American beers. Good policy on their Alesmith IPAís - only one on the shelf and the others in a dark and cold basement so they werenít exposed to heat or sunlight. Good one. The De Molen and Belgian beers were decently priced, although some of the Americans and especially the LoverBeers were high, even in comparison to Danish standards. But a really cool store overall.

I had kunch there twice and the food was pretty good. Obviously they had some of their excellent beers on tap. The little shop that is connected to the restaurant has An wide selection of rare European craft beers. But these guys know they are top of the bill and their prices reflect that.

What can one say about this place. Home of one of Europeís best brewers and probably my favourite European brewery. Located in a lovely little town, an east train ride from Amsterdam. Wonderful building with a working Mill. Cracking little shop, if a little over priced at times. Would love to get here outwith the main festival (but theres only so much time) Still during festival food great(and there mass catering) range is amazing but its clear that normally the range is still pretty impressive. All told worth a visit anytime your in Amsterdam or even Holand

Quick lunch and taking the opportunity to re-stock on some great beers. I just love their selection and it is still growing.
