Had dinner here twice so far, much to our satisfaction. Food is mostly organic and much of it comes from local farms. Beer selection is nothing to get excited about, but itís definitely above the standard for restaurants in this country. Last time I was there, they had a number of brews from De Texelse brewery on tap. Recommended if you want to sit down for some good food accompanied by a decent beer.

OK, maybe not the largest selection around in the world but certainly in Groningen if you want some good food with your beer. They always have a couple of La Trappe beers on tap (Puur, Triple, Bock and Isidíor when I visited) and a few interesting changing taps. They had Sloeber Bruin when I was there. The food is more than simple pubfood but not like they act as if they have a Michelin star. Itís simple great IMO. Excellent cheese paltter as well. Not cheap but worth the money for sure. Very friendly staff but I didnít test them on their knowledge about beer. I would certainly go back again.
