Come here for your share of Spanish macros, imported lagers or the same Belgian ales you will find everywhere else. | 64 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 faroeviking (131) , Faroe Islands | March 11, 2009| Updated March 18, 2009 El Corte Inglés has a few different buldings and departments and the one you want is of course the Supermercado in the Semisótano, which is across from the bookstore on the other side of the pedestrian street. There are loads of beers from mainly Spain and Germany but also some country ticks like Colombia, Ecuador, Latvia and Romania. A great place to shop beer, especially if you don’t have so many spanish ratings. Lots of ciders too. Good snacks and food all around you too. There are also other El Corte Inglés store in Madrid like the one right by the Callao Metro Station but they all have more or less the same selection of beer and cider. This Corte Inglés close to Puerta del Sol has the the biggest supermercado of them all in Madrid
