Great beer bar! Very good selection of quality micros - the best selection I saw in Madrid. Lots of spanish micros and American, Danish, Belgian and even a Norwegian at the time of our visit. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Pleasant outdoor seating on the sidewalk. Visited it three times during a four nights stay in Madrid. Highly recommended!

Very tiny place near all the nice musea and San Bernardo Market. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable as well. Interesting beer tap list but also quite some bottles.

Possibly more dinner crowd and tapas oriented than the other neighborhood places, el pedal is certainly worth stopping to if touring this area of the city; Spanish micros are prevalent on tap.

Very good beer selection, 20-35 spanish micros, including Guineau pigs, Naparbier, Yakka, VG, Zulogardens, Dougalls. Also good foreign selection with lots of good producers like Mikkeller ( never had time to get anything other then spanish beers).
No wi-fi, not the most attentive staff, or the best snacks- but really a must visit in Madrid

The place has improoved in the right direction, now they have a few more taps, of better quality, and the bottlelist is good as always. Very friendly staff.

Very tiny bar with limited seating though there’s additional tables outside. 5 beers on tap; one of which was brewed onsite. Draft prices were ok but not as good as other better bars in Madrid. Decent, small bottle selection though no prices were listed. Not worth going out of your way to visit.

El pedal is a cozy and surprising pub in the neightbourhood of lavapies, a characteristical "barrio" of the city. Really knowledgeable staff can guide you thorought the selection, also if the ambiance is a bit rustic

About 150 references of beers from Norway, The Nethelands, Scotland, Germany, Ireland, Denmark, etc, and of course..., Spain. A nice place to drink an excellent selection of Spanish microbreweries. A good selection of foreign beers as well. Friendly staff with good knowledge of beers.

A surprise, a genuine surprise. Found it just walking along Argumosa towards Lavapies, and there it was. Very nice selection of Spanish microbrews as well as European and American. Good service in a small place with great ambiance. More and more taps installed, making it one of the few places in Madrid that push microbrewed tap beer. Check it out.
