We showed up at the height of the noon rush, and signed in on the waiting list with some worry about the wait. Turns out that the staff is quick and efficient the food was great, and there were some very nice beers in the sampler. My wife was happy to find Lindemanís Framboise on tap, and the in-laws went for Heineken in bottles.

Donít be derailed by the cheesy exterior as this is a great little brewpub; and while I donít care for too many of their brews, Elliot Bay is certainly doing some interesting things; here they offer the full line of beers (samplers available), above average bar food and an amazing stout ice cream brownie sundae made with the trub from their stout; that dessert is worth the trip alone IMO

One of the best brewpubs out there. Friendly environment, not too loud, not too quiet. 14 rotating house beers covering a wide range of American styles. Food is good and you get pretty good portions.

My favorite place in W. Seattle. I had their stout and a sunnydale pale ale and I was pretty impressed with both. Good selection of seasonals, including a few belgians. Good service and ambiance, not your typical catering-to-yuppies Seattle brew pub. Food was awesome, definitely worth visiting. Pints are 4.50, which is a bit steep, as was the food, but worth it.

Cool place with a laid back mellow vibe. not terribly busy when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. Beers were very good, no complaints. Did not have a chance to try the food on this trip. Parking was kind of a pain in the ass, had to walk a little bit, but other than that everything was roses.

Visited in March of 2008, Monday evening. There was a nice crowd in here of locals. I took the last spot at the bar and almost immediately was included in conversation. Nice vibe. The brewpub overall has a nice bar area, bar tables and a larger dining room. All nicely done, with a space for everyone. I only had time for one Pint and a taster, no time for food on this trip. They had a very large number of beers on, so should be something for everyone. Though not outstanding, the beer was certainly good enough to make this place worth a visit. The one word I would to describe this place is comfortable.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.

The beers where very good the place was jammed with people. The look was just as I see almost all the others look like brick walls, posters and local art work hung on the wall. The service was so so they like the locals thatís for sure. Tons of extra beers on tap with great names was a little hard to find what I would really want. The servers where to busy to help with the decision. They do have good beers the place was very clean and kids can come with the folks. The WiFi was not working but they it works off and on. Parking was a huge issue very limited. I will go back one day to check it out and get some more great beers. The Stout and IPA was to die for.

A true watering hole. A great little place with very appropriate and comforting decor - mildly nautical. I tell ya, they know what theyíre doing as far as beer goes though it isnít world-class, it sure is worth a trip and worth a drink.

A hole-in-the-wall of California Ave. businesses with a big tall sign. Offering mostly their own brews, they offer a kitchen way above standard pub fare. Evenings or happy hour get busy and loud, service suffers somewhat then. More of a plywood and panelling feel, but hundreds on the Mug Club waiting list attest to their appeal. They recently grew into a Burien pub I have not been to as of this rate. Their Ahi tacos ROCK (if messier than the sandwich), several friends loved their pulled pork sandwich (never seen one finished) and salads. While parking might seem a drag, a municipal lot is across the street, access is next to the crosswalk, just outside their door.
