I stop in here on occasion when visiting family in the area. Split between bar and bottle shop, this place has a nice selection of beers with some unexpectedly cool draft and bottle offerings, considering the area. Prices can be a bit high, and the prices on the "Crazy Awesome Bottled Beer List" are absurd (I pity the person who someday throws down $79 on a 2009 Abyss). Still, itís hard to beat stopping in to a small beer shop in a northern Idaho strip mall and ordering a Firestone Walker anniversary beer on draft. For the area, itís great.

A little oasis in this culture and beer dead region. Selection is small but some high end things are available such as Orval, and JW Lees harvest ale. Prices are a bit high for someone who has to ask.

The problem with reviewing this place is that there are two nearly separate sides to it - the bar side, and the store side. The bar is really nice - cool upscale classy vibe, something like 12 different draughts, and some high quality stuff. But I came for the store, and I was a little disappointed in it. They donít break six packs, save for a few 12oz singles theyíve chosen. The local selection is a little lacking, as itís mostly Laughing Dog and little else. There are some really cool bottles in there - donít get me wrong. Just not a huge number of them. A few hundred, but not the selection Iíve seen elsewhere. All that said, Iíd happily stop in again, and likely will.
