THE BEST beer in town bar none! They have quite the list of seasonal and standard beers. Not sure there is a style or type of brew they do not do. Being in Utah all the good stuff must be bought in 750 ml bottles which is fine. Tap beer is low percent alcohol only.

It’s all very complicated. Like Uinta and Utah Brewers Cooperative they have a store which sells cold bottles and merch. Unlike those two they have a restaurant which, by law, can seat no more than 9 people. Apparently they have to make 70% of their sales through food so you have to buy a food entree’ to sample the beers. The food was reasonably priced and surprisingly tasty. The beer’s the thing here. They had 25-27 beers available at samples that ranged from .40 to $1. The day I went it seemed like everyone was from PA so I stayed and talked for hours. The staff is incredibly fun to hang out with. This one of my most enjoyable brewery visits.

Somehow I’ve failed to record my couple visits here. Situated near downtown SLC, Epic is a must-stop place for a visiting beer lover -- stock up on a few bottles and take ’em to go. I guess they have a little tasting area, but I’ve always just taken some things to go and sat safely elsewhere. Great beers, good prices, friendly little shop. (Brewery #624)

OK, this is an AWESOME place working through many UTAH constraints. First, the beers are AWESOME - I took a tour (free but reservations required) just to see how they brew so many beers in a small place. If you have the means, skipping the "Tapless Tap Room" and just buying several bottles of several beers is a great option. If you have the time to sit (and a DD) then here is what you need to know about the restaurant: 1) the food is priced a little high and 2) the beer samples are CHEAP. This is due to Utah law (EPIC has to make 70% of the revenue from food so this forces the pricing scheme). The GREAT NEWS is that if you have the time, once you order food, the beer is UNLIMITED and they have some great beers available! Take the tour if possible as well.

Okay this is just a bottle shop, as they dont have draft. But still you can try a bunch of beers no question asked. Small cost, quick way to try epic! Tiny though... get there for a seat.

Nice bottle shop, with whatever they have in bottles at the moment. Tiny tasting room with decent sandwiches (you’ll need to get food to order sample pours). Tasting room staff is really helpful and friendly, in my experience.

This place has really made the best use of their limited space - literally every inch of the building is being used. Small counter (Tapless Taproom) that serves lunch and of course bottles of Epic brews. The head brewer Kevin showed me around and explained their philosophy. A must visit if in SLC!

Just a small store alongside the main brewing facility, which was probably a fast food joint at one time. I think the brew tanks are where the kiddie playground would have been. Joking aside, beer selection is pretty much everything they make here-prices are very reasonable. If your in town, definitely stop here!

I didn’t really go beyond the initial bottle shop, but that was enough for me, considering I had already driven, nearly, across the entire country. Awesome prices! I was blown away by how much cheaper their bottles were there, vs. the store. Some may assume that this should always be the case, but I’ve been to breweries where the aforementioned isn’t so. The service was just some hipster dude sitting behind the counter, but I’ve been doing this whole craft beer "thing" for some time, so up my ass service isn’t necessary. Chill place, great prices, and a great selection of their own stuff. I love that it’s very simple, and quick.
