All of the E-Street cafes have a small bottle selection to go and drink on premise along with a small, local tap list. Focus on Jacksonville beers especially Bold City. This one is closer to Bold CIty and Intuition/King St beer run area than the one in San Marco so worth dropping in at lunch time. Regardless of beer, this is a popular local haunt for lunch and the food is pretty good if a bit pricier for Jacksonville. Worth peeking your head in though bottle selection wise, Grassroots Market in 5 Points nearby will probably have everything they do and much more.

9/30/12. Finally got into E-Street for the first time and wouldnt you know it, I snagged two ticks.

Well-lit, homey restaurant with plenty of seating both inside and out. Goofy paintings and pictures on the wall with really friendly wait staff.

The two friendly waiters that helped us were prompt and they knew what was on tap, etc.

They have a small amount of taps with a few random gems that rotate. They always have 3-5 locals on tap, which is nice.

Our food was pretty good, an well definitely be back, though its nothing Id phone home about or drag guests to unless they were in that kind of mood (basically sandwiches, etc.).

The menu is pretty reasonably priced, and they have an awesome 2 for 1 happy hour on draft beer. We also went in with a coupon for a free entree, so we got out well.

Overall - Ill definitely be back.

European Street Cafe is my favorite sandwich and beer shop. They have an excellent bar with a decent selection on tap and a 2 for 1 happy hour. I have had Hacker-Pschorr Hefeweizen and Ocktoberfest, and Delirium Tremens on tap at the happy hour. My wife loves the Reuben Sandwich. Lots of specialty beers available from the cooler. Bold City Brewery beers on tap. Nice patio for the sunny days. They also have a beer-to-go shop with a pretty good selection of craft beer six packs at decent prices. Really good place for a sandwich shop with a beer bar.
