Out in the middle of nowhere but only 55 minutes from my place. The place has a rustic olde world charm about it, the bar area is quite pub like. Good service and the beer selection was varied and for the most part of high quality. I only had an appetizer (Pepper Jack Mac) that was tasty, lots of food options. The cost is not cheap but hardly over the top either. I will visit again.

Might think you’re lost as you arrive as it is away from the lakefront/touristy area in a residential area. Small building at the end of the street. A huge bison head greets you as you enter. Bar area on the left and dining on the right. A variety of foods - regular pub fare (pizza, wings, sandwiches, fish and chips) but also a selection of more upscale dishes (their hamhock looks great but didn’t have the appetite for a $29 dish). Also have homemade sodas for the kids/teetotaler. A very welcome site for this area.

Seemed like a slightly out of the way spot, but that wasn’t stopping people. The place was hopping when we arrived. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and there was an impressively ginormous bison on the wall to greet me as I entered. Despite how busy it was, the service was good. Our fried pickles and wing plate was very good, and I especially enjoyed their Chamomile Wheat beer. I plan to visit again.
