Amazing! A "Bar next door" with some incredible taps (mikkeller crocked moon, amarillo from de molen, arragant bastard Stone, galaxie brewfist...). Short but quite sharp selection of bottles. Good value for money for paris
It is a nice place to go and for us, working at the railaway station useful, because it is close to gare de Lyon. The choice is good but for some beers, the prices are expensive. Even though it is a nice and popular place.
Fantastic place near the train station Gare de Lyon. This is a mix between a scandinavian hipster bar and a traditional Parisian bar. 15 taps with some Belgian and German classics but also American, Scandinavian and French beers at very good prices for Paris. Food is typically french = great. Staff is cunning and willing to help with such things as translation of menues. Next time in Paris, I will definately re-visit!
La vie est belle. I check the app when traveling but usually not at home. What a surprise when I stepped in this rather small bar by chance while a train with friends was delayed. A nice and changing selection of beers on tap (my second stay tonight, and on purpose this time). The bottle selection is not big (30-40) but the majority are not main stream. Some warm meals but don t expect a gastropub. Still worth staying for more beers. Prices are very affordable considering scarcity of some cans and prices some Parisian bars dare to put.
Visited in 2012. Seemed like a regular Paris bar with nice selection of beer. They had couple of macros on tap, and the rest of 14 taps were divided between Belgian classics and imported crafts (De Molen, To Ol, Brewdog). Bottles advertised on blackboard were mostly Belgian classics. Worth visiting if you are nearby or if you’re into widely available Belgian beers. Prices were good.
