Beer mecca, eh? Cool looking space with patio and inside seating. The bad; way too few seating options. I went there right after they opened and every conceivable seating option was already gone. Also, it’s nearly impossible to tell what’s on tap as you need to figure it out by identifying the tap handles from 10 to 15ft away. If there are beer menus I couldn’t find one. The good; What I was able to figure out and order was solid and even with this place packed out it took about 10 minutes to get a beer which is pretty amazing considering the size of the crowd. I love the atmosphere (except how rammed it gets does hinder the experience) and the worn in wood interior and airy patio space. I guess my ultimate goal will be to get here and actually have a place to sit, soak in the atmosphere and enjoy a stellar brew one of the next times I’m lucky enough to be in town.

It was winter when I visited so I did not get to enjoy the patio out front, but I got a good spot at the bar inside. The place had a divy sort of vibe and I guess I was sort of expecting more atmosphere wise since this place is so highly regarded. But the beer selection did not disappoint. Lots of good stuff to choose from and I found a few new hoppy beers to try. The service was good and the prices seemed rather average.

Went after GABF a couple years back. I like the feel of the bar. Obviously, amozing things were on tap this week. Didn’t have food, but Mr. Avery himself was handing out free Uncle Jacob. So, yea, it was a good time.

Visited during GABF a little before lunch. Large space and it was easy to get a table. Expansive tap list as noted above. Lots of local brews and plenty that were rare. Service was quick and attentive. Laid back pub atmosphere. beer served in shaker pints.

Visited during GABF week. Top selection of beers, both on tap and on the bottle list. Lots of people but not too crowded, we always found somewhere to sit. Quite a lot of brewers hanging out too. Had a Reuben Sandwich, delicious. Staff was a bit stressed of course, but very nice. One of the best beer bars I have ever attended.

Met up with an old friend here for a quick brew while I was in Denver. It was jam packed due to the fact that we happened to pick a meeting time rght before a Rockies game. So service was fine and there was almost no seating (we shared a table with strangers). Selection was good. Prices seemed average. Good for a casual place to go with friends or alone for a beer. I think they are dog-friendly, too.

A great selection of beers, good dive bar ambience, good service and I found a couple of my favourite beers. Top in Denver.

Crappy dive bar vibe. Tons of bros. Dive bar service. Dive bar pours/glassware. But dork beer bar selection and prices. Great beer served in pint glasses by surly old servers with pack-a-day habits. No options for serving sizes. No flights. Typical bar food. With everything else offered in the city, would scroll past.

This place is my speed. I love the laid back patio. There’s an upstairs and a downstairs in the inside. But, the only bar is located upstairs. Servers come outside and the one I had, Fusch, was prompt, attentive, caring, informed, seasoned, helpful, and loved to chat and make recommendations. He’s the best beer server I’ve ever had. Nice curb appeal with the two-story brick. Prices are reasonable. Good crowd without any seedy element at all. Beer selection is pretty amazing.
