Its hard to not be impressed by the tap list at this place, but its also easy to look around and see the grime and filth covering the walls. Stopped on a Friday night after a 2pm Rockies game (I wasnt there) and thie place was still decently busy, no available tables, no wait staff to assist us in any way, we meandered to the bar and ordered a round of beers, Some Crooked Stave Surrette for me, a Stone Enjoy By for my friend, and an unknown hefeweizen for his g/f bar staff was prompt and efficient, going directly to the sporadicly laid out tap handle. Price is on par with a beer bar of this caliber, downstairs to the billiards room and dart room yields several "VIP" style rooms with no one in them, and a pool table with only 8 pool balls? So they serve world class beer, PtE, Blind Pig, Crooked Stave etc but have slow service and outdated decor cramped spaces.

Drop by on my first night in Denver when I was looking for a place to eat. An impressive looking bar with a crazy amount of taps, walls festooned with beer swag and high ceilings. Staff were nice enough and the beer selection was extensive but Iíd heard a lot about this place being the best in town so I expected more. A good place to go but it wasnít all that much fun sitting there on my own at the bar. I get a feeling lots of the high reviews in Denver coincide with the GABF when places in town pull out all the stops.

Very good selection when you ask for the blue book; although many things I wanted from the book were out of stock. Very relaxed atmosphere, pool and dart downstairs. Food pretty dire.

I visited here for the first night of the 2015 GABF and these guys were pulling out all the stops tapping special beers almost every hour. It was great to get off the plane from NY and be here within 1 hour...drinking Blind Pig and Pliny!. It didnít stop there...we changed to 1/2 pints and that point so we could sample more...including some great IPAís from Comrade. The outside patio was hopping on an unseasonably warm night...and the inside main floor was crowded too (much more so after the GABF session let out but we left just before it peaked). The dťcor inside is very cool...this is a very fun place with an immense selection of amazing Colorado beers as well as top beers from all over the US. Falling Rock is an excellent choice for a first stop on any Colorado craft beer tour and clearly one of the top craft beer bars in the US.

This is a pretty typical bar and grill type place w/ really big tap list. The selection was pretty extensive, the food was pretty standard pub grub and our waitress was not exactly fantastic. It doesnít really strike me as anything special aside from having a lot of beer on draft.

Iíve been here a few times, usually when in town for GABF. Always has a solid tap list with Pliny or Blind P on draft (usually available in pitchers too from what I remember). Outside standing room which is cool if itís nice out. A solid go-to beer bar stop if youíre in Denver.

Friday afternoon visit. Excellent selection, decent prices, and great service. Couldnít really ask for anything more. Lived up to itís reputation as far as I was concerned. You should be able to find something to please here. Great selection of Colorado beers. Did not try the food.

Great location in downtown Denver, right by Coors Field. Parking is dicey; we were lucky to find a spot in front of the bar. Huge place, typical bar decor. Service was attentive, but didnít know anything about their beers. Selection is good, tons of IPAs as we visited in the summer. Food was not good. Typical uninspired bar food. Value was just ok. If youíre going to a Rockies game you pretty much have to go here, but otherwise, donít go out of your way.

This place wasnít as big as I pictured. In the middle of downtown, so itís street parking with confusing meters and aggressive meter maids. Ask me how I know that. Small patio outside was mostly smokers when I stopped by. Inside thereís a large bar to the right, restaurant style booths and some tables. Nice cozy, slight worn and broken in feel to the place, like itís been here a while. Got some food as the kitchen was closing at 10 and it was delicious - just pub grub, burgers and sandwiches, but very well done. Large beer selection with tons of local stuff and some treats - to of the Lost Abbey box set beers for instance, and Blind Pig. Choices favored IPAs. Nice bottle list too. The biggest highlight was the service, outstanding start to finish. Well worth deviating your route to visit.
