Cute little local place. Food was OK, service from the bar manager was good. Decent selection of beers, maybe 20 or so on tap, mostly US micros with a few imports thrown in. Highlights this night would be Avery Salvation and Firestone Double Jack.

I went to this cozy restaurant a little too late for food, but I did take a gander at the menu, which looked absolutely delectable. Sitting at the bar when there werenít that many people in the place was a good idea, for the bartender started talking to me and letting me sample some of their varied beers that were on tap while telling me a little bit of trivia and throwing in Arrested Development references. Although there were too many taps, there was a nice selection between local breweries (and a lot of hometown pride!) and international beers. Next time Iím in town, I definitely want to come back for a more full experience.

Had lunch early on a Sunday afternoon, before the church crowd. Menu selection is limited on Sundays, but decent list. Tried the new White River beers, new brewery in Springfield. Beers were decent, other selections were decent as well. Service was good, not very crowded. Would like to return at a different time of day to see how crowded the place can get.

Great little pub. Not a huge selection but they do have quite a few taps and they arenít the beers you find everywhere else it town. The staff is very knowledgeable and happy to help. While the food is good, it is very expensive. Itís all local and fresh and they are very...VERY proud of it lol

Pleasant and civilized place in the middle of a town where the culture is mainly still, "If Iím going out to a bar, it must be to go out and get drunk." Beers emphasize local/Missouri and British ales and with a few other surprises. Stools at the bar, open tables of varying size, booths, and other nooks. Could do without the TVs, but these things take time. British-style comfort food more than pub grub, with fresh ingredients sources as locally as possible. A good place to try the local Motherís beers, but there is also usually a cask or two (preserved by CO2 blanket, I think).
