Crowded. Very good service considering the crowd. Very good beers and food. At five dollars a pint, I thought the beer was a bit on the pricy side. I would return.

Dropped in with some of my science colleagues for dinner mid-week. Glad that the place was not too loud and that they could accommodate our group of 5 easily. Smaller place than I was expecting. Big bar. A bunch of guest taps in addition to their own brews (maybe 10?). All of the beers I tried were solid. The pizza was excellent. Too bad none of their sours were on. Would love to go back and visit again sometime!

Cool ambiance with a huge wood-burning oven for the pizzas and metal gears frozen into the long cement bar top. Cozy little outdoor area, but 115 degree temperatures might keep you inside. Small. Quaint. Taps rotate regularly and the beers are above average. The BA Impy Candy Bar Milk Stout is one of the best in the state and some of their IIPAís are just below enamel peeling. Stop by, for sure!

Ah, one of the place whales knocked off. This is the "old" location, although the new is not quite open as of this writing. One consequence is that they only had four of their own beers available; they are moving production to the new space. Lots of guest taps though. Fairly busy on a Saturday night, but a place at the bar was easy to grab. Taster flights of five, which in this case was completed by my choice of guest beer. Staff was really friendly, happy to talk beer and the new location. Food was solid. None of their crazy shit was on tap when I was there, but the beers I tried ranged in quality a fair bit, with nothing really standing out.

Long time before my flight from Phoenix. Stopped by for some last minute drinks. It was in a strip mall but that was ok. Clean ambiance and cool outdoor seating. Nice music and great service.

Its got that arizon strip mall thang going on. Place is aight. Service was good and beer was simple but they did put beets in one which was classic adjunctzona. I didnt eat but it was a good time.

Strip mall location, comfortable small interior, wood fired pizza is their specialty. Above average beer quality, they dry hop everything so thereís a common raw grassiness in their beer, but the malt has surprising depth and the flavor balance is enjoyable. Most beer was semi-sweet to off-dry and had a strong mineral quality, which suits my tastes well. Even better, no candy bar nonsense, just straight up beer thatís highly drinkable. Would revisit on this trip if it were closer to downtown Phoenix.

Met up with daknole here on our way back to California. Was a little bit thrown off by the location as I guess I just wasnít quite expecting it to be in the little shopping center that it is.

Interior decor is pretty clean and well done. Nice big bar, plenty of seating, bright, all that good stuff. The beers that I tried (five) were all quite good, I thought. Particularly the hoppy stuff, which isnít often something I find outside of our bubble in California.

Food looked to be great as well, but we did not eat here. Pizzas seemed to be the way to go.

Definitely a solid stop if youíre in the Phoenix area.

Killer brewpub sandwiched into a rather busy area of shops and restaurants. Interior decor is tasteful, modern, and inviting. I dig the clear views of the brick oven, where delicious pizza constantly slide in and out, and the 7bbl brewing system. Space is at a bit of a premium, though. A small patio provides some relief, at least in the non-summer months, the crowd/noise level can get a bit high on busy nights. Of course, when the food and beer is as good as they are here, thatís to be expected. The menu includes a fine assortment of pizzas, as well as a small assortment of appetizers and salads. Itís not an extensive menu, but itís thoughtfully designed. Prices are reasonable enough, perhaps leaning toward the high side, but certainly in line for this part of town. Guests can typically choose from 8+ brewery taps and another 6-8 guest taps, the latter of which are divided between Arizona and national brews. Flights/half pours are available. Whether you opt for a flight or a full pour, the breweryís own beer is generally fantastic -- flavorful, true to style, and often adventerous, with a particular knack shown for the use of adjuncts, such as chile peppers. To my mind, Fate is second to none in the metro Phoenix area - the beer, food, and ambiance are all top notch, and itís a worthy destination for out of town beer enthusiasts and local drinkers alike.

Great place! typical strip mall atmosphere outside, but nice cozy friendly neighborhood inside. Beer selection was quite wide-12 taps everything from imperial stouts to Berliner weissí. Most beers were above average to very solid. I would definitely go back to this place!
