42 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 2/10 OVERALL 8/20 berlinoise2go (16) , Norway | March 31, 2012 Small, centrally located delicatessen with a limited range of Norwegian micros, some German beers and recently De Molen beers. Deserves credit for being among the early vendors of Norwegian micro brews, but their price level is currently outrageous, as the same products can be obtained 40% cheaper in certain Oslo supermarkets. | 68 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 13/20 tfredvik (17) Oslo, Norway | February 29, 2012 A must see in down town Oslo! A tiny and cosy store with a huge selection of all kinds of dried meat and sausages. The beer selection is extremely variable: some times they have a couple of different german lagers, other times they have all sorts of domestic and foreign gems. I’ve talked to two guys working there: one is very, very friendly and helpful, the other is... well... not that friendly and helpful. The prices are very, very high, even by Norwegian standards. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Cunningham (246) Halden, Norway | February 21, 2012 WoW. Et slikt sted vil jeg drive når jeg blir voksen.
For en knall lukt i butikken. Også har de godt øl også.
Herlig mann som driver butikken også.
Knall sted. | 52 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 9/20 visionthing (190) Oslo, Norway | October 27, 2011 Some hard to get Norwegian beers, but usually pretty expensive. Sometimes prices are pretty close to what pubs and restaurants charge for the same beer. Anyway it is a nice place with good service, and knowledgeable staff. | 38 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 5/20 esp0r (35) , Norway | August 14, 2011 Little shop that lies in the middle of the tourist trap in Oslo Centrum. The shop is specialized in norwegian meat and sausage specialities and also sell some norwegian micros and german stuff. The norwegian micros range from Valdres, Inderøy, Ølve på Egge and Kinn, so there is a good idea to pop in and check the wares. Too bad there was almost empty when i visited. Very nice chat with the owner, and he said they waited for delivires from Valdres and Inderøy. Totally a nice addition to the normal norwegian beer scene | 50 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 10/20 SirLimpsalot (23) , Sweden | July 26, 2011 Small little store with a decent selection of beers from Norwegian microbrewerys. | 36 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 8/20 Palme (47) Bergen, Norway | July 18, 2011 A slightly scary meat-store that sells some rare (mainly ) Norwegian micro beers. Lots of meat hanging from all over the roof, lots of dead animals on the walls, floor, casks and shelf’s. The service was not much to brag about. I went in, found the beer section and picked my beers. Asked if they had something I could carry them in but only got a cranky "NO!". All in all a place I will visit again on my next Oslo visit. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 12/20 Pepefromdale (5) 6963 Dale i Sunnfjord, Norway | March 9, 2011 This is a place where you can almost all norwegian micros. Very nice service | 62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 15/20 jikvig (7) , Norway | February 26, 2011 Alot of hard to get norvegian micro´s is to be found here. It´s not very cheap, but you really get charmed by this shop the the owners. You WILL go out with beer and at least 1 kg of meast etc that you did not really needed. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 Kestral (29) Årnes, Norway | August 10, 2010 A nice little shop of traditional norwegian stuff. Cured meat, berry syrups and other stuff. They also have some beers. Because of norwegian laws, they can only sell beers below 4.75% abv. That said, they have bottles of beer you can’t get nowhere else in Oslo or the east part of Norway at all, so that’s cool. Go there, buy some bottles of Inderøy, Trollbryggeriet and other obscure norwegian micros, grab a baguette for lunch and some cured sausage or something. The staff is passionate about what they sell, so they can tell you all about their products. |
