Nice place in the city center of Bochum to enjoy some beer and hung around. The interieur is dark wooded but with lots of light and atmosphere. An inexpensive lunch card is available. The staff is yound, mostly students, friendly and nice. Nice spot to enjoy the Moritz Fiege beers but no must-visit when in Bochum (the beers are available in bottled versions in any drink store around as well).

Traditional middle-sized brewpub in the centre of Bochum. The interiour with its dark wood panelings creates a warm atmosphere. The beer selection is typical for the Ruhr region, with the exception of a decent Schwarzbier. Food (Geschnetzeltes Schwein mit Spätzle) was hearty and inexpensive at lunch time. Fiege is well worth a visit for those travelling in Bochum, particularly during the lunch time offers.

Really cozy pub, full of wood and with stained glass on the walls. Expensive (4 Euros a pint), maybe not with the right type of music for this type of place but ultimately pleasant. I wish more breweries had such well designed pubs. Oh, the pils was actually better here draught than from the bottle.

Visited on Saturday 27/04/13 around 5pm. Fiege’s Stammhaus is situated on the rather unnatractive main concrete drag that runs down from the HBF and in to the town. 2 roomed venue, tradtional German wooden interior, fairly dark, ornaments and beer jugs on the shelving. We probably picked a bad day to visit as there was some kind of farmers market/battle of the bands thing going off and the main street had been pedestrianised and was wedged with people, as was Fiege’s Stammhaus. We sat on the patio outside and waited for quite sometime. Yes - it was busy but they didn’t bask themselves in glory in grabbing us a few beers. To be fair there were only 2 servers and on a day like this it would seem pretty fucking obvious that you need extra staff! 4 beers were available on our visit, all ok offerings, nothing too exciting. A detour for the hardended German ticker, not for a casual weekend in NRW!

Nice interior decoration, and helpful and friendly service. The beers are really not worth the detour though (5 taps and 2 bottles).

Visited twice in the end od December 2008. On one of the main streets of the shopping area in downtown Bochum. Nice place with good schnitzels. Staff good, though English was hard to use. One room available shielded off from smoking. Clean toilets.

Nice, fresh and clean kneipe. The deco is nicely mixed modern and classic, quite cozy overall with some necessary brand marketing. The staff was friendly and pro altho only one person handled the whole place which meant some delays. My "innenstadt snitzel" was as good as it can, no complaint there.

"Modern" brewery-tap on the original site of the Fiege-Brauerei. All the brewery’s beers are available in the pub, which looks like a mixture of a "classical" german brewery-restaurant (dark wood, stained glass and so on...) and a "modern" bistro. The young staff is sometimes a bit "tired", the food can hardly be called "far above the average"....... Anyway: a good place to sample the good Fiege stuff !
