Very nice selection of bottles and drafts. I think its 50 taps and 100 bottles. Something for everyone. Have been a couple times and always head there ealry in the evening. Was surprised to see it packed late night...but sad to see everyone holding Miller lights. Terrible atmosphere late night, when not crowded its just ok. Also as stated below, they are quick to clear drinks, even when still full.

The only reason to hit this place is the lack of any other options in the area.
Great tap selection but look closely at your glass before you take your first sip.
I have had dirty glasses, gunk from dirty lines and flies from a glass that was sitting on top of the refrigerator.
they obviously do not give a damn about their customers and the products they sell
it is a shame that a place that serves such a line up of beers treat my favorite beverage in such ways.
I will go again but only because i hate drinking anything else.
next time i will concentrate on the bottles.

Overrated in comparison to my favorite spots. Solid selection for AC. But nothing over the top. The pub has no ambiance because it is essentially a small bar area adjacent to the casino floor. As beer popluarity grows, I would expect a real brew mecca to find a home. This is a side show, and not a stand alone place.

Visited summer 2008. Now this is a place I could describe without my notes. One of the most memorable places of my pub-crawler life, and for all the bad reasons. First the beer selection is quite amazing. 51 taps (thatís fifty-one!!!) with only about 5 of them sub-par crap for the tourists. Decent bottle selection too but with 51 taps you wonít get to it. The ambiance is something else!!! As far as true beer-bars is concerned this takes the cake for the tackiest most kitsch losers hangout. Worlds canít describe the tacky disco DJ, worlds cannot describe the drunk losers that think that Atlantic City is the shit, worlds cannot describe the drunk fat chicks dressed up for a night out at the Casinos. This place is amazing. I went early in the evening with the girlfriend and went back late at night by myself. I could spend a week doing people watching there. Now back to the beer. I also had on tap Rogue Charlie which is a rarer Rogue. WARNING: Most customers drink alcohol or macros. With 51 tap lines a few are most likely not very fresh. My Founders Breakfast Stout was in poor condition. Highly recommended for those with a twisted sense of humour.

Firewaters is one of the best places around AC to get a fresh brew. Good selection but need to gear up with the glass ware.

Been to Firewaters 2x. Last time was on May 2 after a No Doubt concert at The Borgata. The selection was terrible. We paid a $10 cover charge and then $18 for a bottle of Southern Tier Jahva which was served too cold. The beer was subpar. My boyfriend said it was a bad batch. It definitely was. I usually enjoy Southern Tier but that stuff was awful. This place is overpriced and the selection sucks!!! Stay away!!!

I had a better experience here than I did at the other location. If you are in AC there is not much as far as beer bars so this place is even better. Not much as far as ambiance, along the walk in the casino. The staff was friendly but didnít really know the beers they are serving. I had a few pints and shared with family and it was a good time. I guess its hit or miss bc I hear some of the bartenders are pretty knowledgable and the owner tries hard to put up good taps. They also have a pretty good bottle selection.

(Visited 05/2007): Firewaters is a not-so-hidden gem in the Quarter section of the Tropicana. It is in stumbling distance to casinos, Jitney stops and cabs so that is a plus.
The exterior is par for the course for what you would expect in a Casino bar/restaurant. On the plus side the large # of draft handles is viewable to passers-by. Inside it looks like a typical sports bar. The bar boasts the previously-mention taps, along with their available bottles lining the walls. The establishment is dark with spartan furnishings.
The beer selection is phenomenal, especially when you consider youíre technically in a casino. They have 50 drafts with surprisingly few macros. Selections include Smuttynose, DFH, Yuengling, Kona, Brooklyn, De Dolle, Sly Fox and many others. As for bottles they claim 101 from the likes of Heavyweight, TrŲegs, Rogue, Victory etc. Glassware is varied and the prices are very reasonable. Samplers of 4 drafts are about $7-8. Included with the sampler is a notes paper which scores extra points in my book.
The service here is good. The bartenders know the beers and know how to serve them. No complaints at all in this department.
We did not have any food on this visit, but the deli with whom they share an entrance looked worthwhile.
Overall this is a place I would definitely make a point to visit any time in Atlantic City.
