Nice rustic and historical building. Not big on fish but the fish tacos are out of this world. I haven’t had any food or beer at this place that I didn’t like. Now it is a pit stop on the way to the cabin every time we go up north.

The only place to be every night of the week in Duluth. Fitger’s make some of the best beer I have ever had, and the selection is always changing. The atmosphere is amazing. The place is always crowded, so you can barely walk around or even find a piece of wall to lean against. The music is the best (Charlie Parr, if you’re lucky), and the floor stomping dances are memorable. On my list of top 10 brewpubs to visit before you die.

Fun little brewpub in an old, re-purposed building, replete with shops and such. Excellent beers, if not an extensive selection of styles. Good pub grub. Small bar with limited seating. Can get crowded, and service suffers.

Very cool place. Local hot spot with plenty of their own beers, good food and an interesting place in terms of ambiance. Went there a lot in college and still like to stop in when I get up that way.

I’ve never eaten at Fitgers, but I’ve had plenty of their delicious beer and always have people grab me some growlers when they are up there. I can’t wait for the Minneapolis location to open up. I love me some starfire and framboise. So delicious. Stop here when in duluth

I enjoyed the beers I had here and would come back again if I was in the area. Nice atmosphere right on the lake in a old warehouse.

Worked in the Beer Store downstairs for two years while going to school. Got to know the brewers and these guys are dedicated. They put out well over 100 different beers every year. The wait staff doesn’t pretend to be your best friend but are always friendly. Atmosphere and charm can’t be beat. All the beers are quite good with some very remarkable stand-outs (bourbon barrel barleywine, el nino IPA, smoked dopplebock to name just a few). Miss this place lots. Oh, and listening to Charlie Parr play on Wednesday nights in the summer with a fresh pint-enough said.

Visited a few times, finally rating it after my visit on Nov. 17, 2011. Awesome brewpub vibe. Had a flight of 7 beers with some really good ones. Awesome old building. Love this place.

A great brew pub right on Lake Superior. Their house brews are all quite good...especially the Edmund Bourbon Imperial Stout - worth the trip just for that beer alone.
