Just outside of downtown area. Like all the Indy taprooms, not open until 4! Still, when we arrived just after, place was wide open for sitting. Not a big sitting area, but nice. Very DIY inside. Friendly staff and very generous free sample pours. Big selection of non-bottled beers.

Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon. I actually walked here from Sun King since they are very close to each other. Plus, Sun King has a parking lot and Flat 12 does not. Anyway, when I walked in the front door, there was a line to get something from their 20+ taps. I ordered a couple half pints. I donít think they had anything smaller available. Anyway, the beer I ordered was very good. They actually have two rooms with different taps and casks. They variety of styles offered are also pretty large. They probably had 30 taps and 2-4 casks going while I was there. The patio is a pretty nice place to hang out with a fire pit and lots of seating available. Dog friendly, which isnít that big of a deal to me, but there were a few people that had their dogs with them while I was there. They donít have food, but there was a very nice food truck outside of the front door while I was here. I had my first experience with Bahn Mi with this truck. Delicious!. Anyway, pricing is very reasonable and there is a lot to choose from here. Next time Iím in Indy ,Iíll be stopping here for sure.

Not the best location on the east side of downtown, really around nothing. However, very cool once youíre inside with the creative seating. Good beers, awesome patio. Glassware is severally lacking though. I did like that you could get kegs to go without pre-ordering.

Tasting room is small, but the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Seating was a bit limited. Nice selection of beers, and free tastes.

Visited on a Sunday and was impressed with the service and selection. These folks love their beer and love sharing it even more! They are proud and that shows through in the service and the beer. As I reclined in my wire-shopping cart that was turned into a recliner, I commenced a session-grande and enjoyed myself as much as humanly possible.

I was looking forward to this place, but I was pretty disappointed. Nothing special.

Iíve been follow 12 on Facebook for about a year now and finally made it into town again to give the a shot. Tried 3 regular offerings and 2 special offerings. All 3 beers were enjoyable and I dug the establishment. I think these guys are worth keeping an eye on, I suspect we are going to see some great stuff from them in the future.

I went there for the first time today after having some of their beers around town. The facade and main entranceway sets you up to be disappointed, but once you get inside the seating area, itís very open and inviting. Wood beams and brick walls give this place a very rustic feel.
Both servers I spoke with (I believe one was the head-brewer) were both friendly and knowledgable and were happy to dispense free samples for as long as I wanted. I was told me they would fill up unmarked growlers, too (score). They had many beers on tap; including many idiosyncratic beers I know I would have no chance getting elsewhere. I settled on the Rye Stout (you can see my review for that elsewhere). My only gripe is that $6 for a pint is pretty high. I know that they give out a lot of samples and that their profit margins still arenít incredibly high, but that still seems like a lot. But disagreeing over paying an extra dollar or so is not a big deal whatsoever. On the bias, I was very happy with my experience here and would come back again.

Just east of downtown. Tasting room fairly small and seating is limited. However have a great selections of their beers and were very accommodating. Menu was very limited but what they had smelled and looked very good. Would like if they had glasses instead of plastic cups but understand why they donít. Growler fill area separate from tasting area. Will be a regular stop for me as itís pretty easy to get to off 65/70.
