I like to meet friends here when Iím in San Antonio (only on weekdays). Itís a strip mall bar with a good beer selection and a weird mixture of people drinking arrogant bastard and corona or heineken. Average service - place gets CROWDED and sometimes people are rude here. Value is pretty good, I think. Like all saucers, I think of 3 beers I want before ordering, because theyíre probably out of two of them.

a friend brought me here for a few beers and Iím glad she did. Texas is well represented and there are plenty of other options as well. We did not eat here, but the food at the other tables looked decent. Good service and prices were good to slightly high.

Good representation of the FS theme. Solid selection, reasonable priced (mostly). Good service. Decent grub. Pretty good atmosphere. Worth a stop whilst in SA.

A great outside area but the layout inside could be better. Excellent selection of bottles, trending to European beers, and great selection of handles. Very surprised to see DFH90í on tap - and it was fresh! Beer knowledge was marginal, but I didnít chat with the bartenders. Fairly dear for SA, but there is value-added here in the way of sports on flat and big screens. A bit out of the way but worth the trip for ale lovers.

One of the better physical layouts for a Saucer- nice patio. Great selection for San Antonio- probably the best in the city.

A huge selection of beers, very busy and very noisy and wait staff than can only be explained as Hooters for Suicide Girls although jst as creepy.

A nice place. A little on the loud side, but not too bad. The food tastes pretty good, but the menu is pretty tiny. The service is average but most of the servers are pretty easy on the eyes. they have something like 400 beers, so the selection is pretty decent. Being SA, I couldnít believe that 75% werenít Shiner ;) Iím trying to get in alot of different samples and going to these kinds of places while traveling on business helps. It is what you would expect, a regional chain with pub grub.

This is a pretty good Saucer location. Service and food was much better than any other location Iíve been to. Their tap list doesnít take many chances, but, itís as varied a selection as your likely to find in SA (still a BMC kind of town). 100% smoke-free inside encourages me to come back often and stay longer.

Waitress was VERY attentive and served our beer and food promptly, as well as checked back often. She was generally interested in our thoughts on several types of beer, but couldíve been a little more knowledgeable/ Atmosphere was a typical "pub", but nice. Food was fresh and beyond typical bar food. The best part is that the entire bar is non-smoking, except for the patio outside. Itís nice for non-smokers to be able to enjoy a few complex beers without having to deal with the stench of smoke. Will definitely go back again and again.

Good place to get a very good selection of brews. Food, overall is OK... Chili is horrible (Iím somewhat of a chili snob). Service for the most part is prompt and good. Friends keep telling me to join their brew club or whatever it is. As a RateBeerian, I feel itís a waste of my time as Iíve already rated a good number of brews.
