this place was great. so glad i got talked into going out there for a couple drinks and a sandwich, which were surprisingly very good, especially for a brewery. the beer wasn’t priced to badly either. neat eating area that you can see inside the brewery, and loved the atmosphere the old factory gives you. would love to go back again, even if it was just for the food! P.S. Updating for new building, which is awesome. Love the great winding long bar, and the entire setup. Only thing is that we need more parking! Ive been there a dozen times already and its been so packed, the side street is almost full.

Great beer and food. Need to go on off hours, or the place can be pretty crowded. Lots of great beers on tap, especially if you can get a Kentucky Breakfast.

location is nice, by the river. loud, sometimes quite crowded, almost hard to hear when ordering. decent selection of their brews, and the prices actually arent that bad.

There isn’t much to this place; there are tables, a bar, some TV and a cooler. There were empty peanut shells all over the floor too of course. They use proper glassware for their specialty beers which all seem to be something aged in bourbon. They didn’t have a huge selection but it was a wide selection as far as the type of beers go. It is hard to find if you don’t know where to look but it is nice to walk down the river and stop in for a pint or two.

Not sure when they startedd, but they do offer a dinner menu 5-9 or so Wed - Thursday now. Prices are not great, but not bad on the based on the food based off the menu. Cool old industrial building, with a nice view of brewing room, and smallish bar. Come for the obeers and live music if is to your tastes. Small fridge offering 6’ers a nd 4 packs of their signature beers. Must see brew stop in Grand Rapids/K-zoo area. Won’t give you the great prices of Bell’s but well worth a visit. Updated for new tap room, visited 05/01/2009. Bigger, nicer, with a huge patio outside the new room is a nice upgrade.

Nice Atmosphere in downtown Grand Rapids. They serve food at lunch and sometimes at dinner, but you can order in at dinner if they don’t have food. It is hard to go wrong because they usually have a few world class beers on tap. They usually have 8-10 beers on tap. They are all about the good beer!

Very impressive warehouse style brewery. No frills or pampering here just getting down to the business of making above average beers. Good live entertainment at night and in the day they have one of the best jukeboxes I’ve come into contact with. Great place to meet some beer drinking buddies for a couple of rounds and some peanuts.

Phenomenal brews and great service are the only things that make this place so good. it smells bad, and is horribly smoky on a social night. monday half off pints are excellent...wow. The beer and selection of said beer is what makes them. Dark, plain old room, dirty metal tables, usually peanut shells all over the ground. nice barley candles on each table. big windows, good for cooling off in winter, or summer, HUGE brewery room display windows. floor to ceiling, 12 feet, two whole walls of them. man, if it weren’t for the amazing and variant ales / beers. Great servers....really cool people, nice, play good music SOME of the time. Food...never had their daily lunches. Expensive as hell. Must be good though. At night there’s pretzels/cheese or peanuts. good nuts. The dart board is a piece of shit

New, spacious location. Good selection on tap including several that aren’t bottled. Service was fine. Much improved food menu, but I didn’t eat. Wish they had bigger selection of their brews in bottles, at more competitive prices, for take out. 12/7/11 Re rate. Toasted sandwich was excellent, and reasonably priced! Waitress let me pick any 4 oz. samples, at reasonable prices!
