Finally made it up to Grand Rapids to check out this spot...Decor was a bit disappointing to me, a big spacious cold room that I didnít care for. Not a fan of the lack of seating, and what seating that was there was communal...draft list was decent, tons of regulars, 8 brewery beers including a great kolsch, nothing super special but everything was solid as to be expected from Founders... Iíd come to tick if I lived closed but unless a special release wouldnít go out of my way

You know you are approaching something wonderful when you see a beautiful woman walking up to a brewery at noon on a Sunday with an empty growler in each hand. This was my first impression of Founders and my impressions got only better. This is the most awesome brewery Iíve visited (so far). It has a great selection of current brews including four only available at the pub, waitstaff that focuses exclusively on beer, a very nice sandwich selection (standing in line to order a sandwich is one of the very few drawbacks of the experience), performance stage that uses the brewing kettles as the backdrop, a huge beer hall with garage doors that open to a patio for expanded seating, a very diverse crowd that included couples, families and a very hungover bachelor party (the groom-to-be kept pushing away the beers put in front of him), a fairly priced gift shop with cold bottled beer and sale items, and a separate space that can rented for private events. If Ron Burgundy was to visit, heíd have to say this brewery, and not himself, is kind of a big deal.

Really cool building, clearly a lot of money has been put into it. We sat outside, which had an awesome ambiance to it. Didnt try food. Service wasnít very attentive. Cool place. Update: I went back a few days later on this trip. Food was outstanding.

I went here on KBS release day. Huge place, full of Founderís memorabilia, kind of like a Founderís museum. Hard to find parking. Service does not come to you and when you go to the bar, theyíre a little indifferent. Only Founderís beers, but they serve a lot of them, including several extremely hard to find ones. Several different sizes of drafts available. They donít rake you over the coals with prices the way they could, especially with highly sought after beers like KBS and Backwoods Bastard. Store was a little disappointing; I wanted a better take-home beer selection. Overall an enjoyable experience, plus you have to go here if youíre GR - in my opinion one of the meccas of craft beer.

Went for 2015 Cellar Raid. Went on day 6 right when they opened so it wasnít crazy busy but did progressively get pretty tight. A great spot with rough parking. A huge facility with a full store connected. Full of glasses, clothing, chilled beer, and other random merchandise. Really nice inside. A nice woody rustic look. Great size inside with a big bar. I went for the crazy taps so Iím not sure the day to day list. A good sized food menu. I would like to try more but my soup and couple appetizers were pretty good. I donít really agree with their seat yourself method during an event. Either you stand in the middle waiting for someone to get up and race other people to get a table. Or you do what I did and go outside. A really really nice patio area. When itís 10 degrees outside its a little inconvenient. My CBS pours couldnít warm up like I wanted. Pretty fair prices and friendly and often visited waitstaff. A great place. Iíd like to go on another day despite my 3 hour trip.

A huge complex with multiple bars. Big inside and outside area, serve yourself. No tasters but it is cheap, so that helps. Service was good at the bar. Didnít eat, didnít even see a menu. Lots of different beers on, and they even tell you what are brewpub only. Very crowded, and I think those crowds are always there.

Stopped in here on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. Parking lot behind the building seemed sufficient. We were seated pretty quickly and ordered our food and had it quickly as well, but after that, the service pretty much stopped. I had an empty beer glass for about 20 minutes before anybody noticed, and that was only because I asked for another beer. Thatís way too long. I think they needed a few more waiters. The sandwich I ordered was quite good and very filling. The coleslaw was good as well as the potato salad. The store was pretty cool and pricing was fair for everything purchased.

Iíve been here a number of times, and I just love it. The smaller spaces inside make it a little tough and crowded when itís cold out, but in the summer, the biergarten is awesome. The selection of taps is always great, and thereís usually something on tap that I havenít had before. The food is incredible. All of their sandwiches are great that Iíve had so far, and the price is good, as it should be for the source of the delicious beers.

Stop #4. Arrived and there was some sort of really terrible hippie live music drum circle thing going on. $5 cover to get in which made things worse. Decent selection of beers but not a whole lot that wasnít available in bottles. Nice patio however. Iíd like to try it without the music.

had to drive cross state im the afternoon, a small parking lot inthe back plus some on street parking. thought I would take advantage a drop in. large open area with seating and a long bar, near the store there is another small bar and a pool table. sat down and was served quickly. had a bunch of taps on of mostly their normal offerings. they did have 5 tap room only beers on. food menu was mostly sandwiches with a few snacks. i ordered the dancing with the devil, prepped and delivered quickly. that plus two pints was $18.25 before tip, al,ost an oitright deal.

Some truly great beers, very good share-able plates, and sandwiches that are much better than a sandwich should be.
