A noisy and bustling brewpub - very large with a lot of space and bar. Very good service, a nice sampler, great food. A modest walk from the Apache/Dorsey light rail stop. Pretty much a "gotta go" if youíre in Phoenix.

Great place with really good beer and a crowd that is a good fit for people of all ages. Near ASU, but good for us older folks too. My favorite AZ brewery.

Visited 3/5/2011 during Ratebeer Winter Gathering for brunch on Saturday morning.
We got special treatment because there were 20 or so of us. The place seems to be very popular and crowded but Iím reviewing what I experienced, not what I assume others would experience.
We were seated in the back amongst the stacks of grain bags and fermenters. It is quiet and soothing back there because you canít hear the cars outside or the customers in the front.
Service was attentive and quick. We were given a free pitcher of 6 different beers and a big stack of sample glasses. They offered free tours but while the first group was on the tour the food came.
The beers were all at least enjoyable. I tried the 6 from the pitcher and ordered a full glass of each of the other two which included the imperial red that was donated to the blend that the AZ brewers did.
The food was excellent. I highly recomend eating here once even if you arenít into beer.

Way too crowded and lod on a Saturday night for one that does not like such. There was at least a decent IPA and a better one - even though bartender did not distinguish which was which. Would like to try if ever there was a quiet day or time.

Honestly, I like to stop here for the Ambiance and the food more than anything else. Four Peaks beer is generally considered by most to be some of the best coming out of Arizona so thatís certainly a plus.
Not a lot else to say...stop by, have a meal and a few beers. You wonít be disappointed.

Sat outside on a nice sunny January day. Big nice place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Decent service, ordered a sampler and a few pints. Selection was ok, lots of choices to appease the masses, a few seasonals. Value on beer was to be expected. Didnít eat here but the food looked good, definitely a place worth stopping by if you are in the area.

Huge place, I was shocked by the size. Too college town for me, pushing toward that market but I get the reasoning. Had the 8 beer sampler of regulars. They were ok, hop know is the only one that stood out. Seasonal beers were really good, a nice black ipa and a bourbon rye wine. Service was a bit pushy and annoying, not a craft beer person. Food was too dumb down bar food for me, but it was tastey if not a bit overly fried. I wouldnít go out of my way to come back, but if close Iíd come for a beer or two.

A must see in the Vallley. The location is casual, the patio terrific and the food great. Wait staff are a little light on beer knowledge, but the beer is freah, varied, tried and true.

Beers are moderately priced here and theyíll occasionally have a tasty, and somewhat inexpensive, seasonal to sip on (my personal favorites, among many, was their Baltic Porter, followed by their Pumpkin Porter). Service has always been attentive and the bartenders have astonishingly good memories, and even if you construct a rather complicated order they seem to never miss a beat. Four Peak also has a lot of space and I enjoy having to sit where I want to on an uncrowded night. However Iím quite unimpressed with their "secret bathroom" (a mirrorless urinal-only room for the guys), their food (most of it is breaded and although Iím behind them in their breading achievements, the entree platters are chiefly uninventive and drab in flavor, especially their desserts), and just the overall notion that this is a campus craft brewpub, therefore this place is mainly packed full of people you never want to associate with. Although Iíve had mostly good encounters with their bartenders, the bouncers at the doors have a reputation here for being complete assholes. If this place werenít so jam-packed all of the time I might visit it more often but I donít see that happening anytime soon.
