(Visited 08/2014): Four String’s tap room is located on West 6th and Gerrard between 5th and King. There is a small parking lot in front of the building.
The interior is narrow with a short bar along the left, then the brewery in the rear. Painted white cinder blocks and minimal decor lend to a DYI atmosphere. There is a framed chalk board next to a TV behind the bar listing the available beers.
As for the beers, there are typically around 5 on tap, mostly their flagship beers like Brass Knuckle and Back Stage Blonde, as well as seasonal and more limited brews like the Solo Series. Samplers are available. The beers are typically decent, particularly the Solo stuff.
Service at the bar during a weekend afternoon was good. The bartender was knowledgeable and attentive.
Four String does not serve food but regularly has a food truck outside.
All in all this is another worthwhile addition to the Columbus brewery scene.

NOTE: as of November 2012, Four String has limited hours and only offers samples, tours, and beer and merchandise to go. Plans are to expand to a tasting room, though right now its samples only. Visited on a Thursday at 5pm, and was the only visitor. The owner, Dan, was really engaging, and took a lot of time giving me a tour, and telling me the Four Strings, and his own personal, history. Right now, Four Strings is focused on two beers, which I thought were both excellent - a Pale Ale, and a Belgian IPA. The brewery seems to be focused on the quality of these two brews, rather than having 50 different styles, which I appreciate. I like the vision and ambition of this brewery, and really hope they do well.
