The Sergioís of Gatlinburg due to the inflated ratings from people who pop in and never return to RateBeer.com. I was embarrassed for my wife when we walked in but I was alright with the decor. PATIENCE is key but very kid friendly if there arenít more than two kids needing high chairs. Food was good to great. Service was slow but friendly if not jovial. Plenty of taps but a few were out. Help yourself beer fridge and darts.

Visited here again last month. Tucked away on the arts and craft road. English themed bar/restaurant with a decent beer selection. Darts and porch available. Did not try the food but the menu was bar/sandwich food mostly. Owner is entertaining-just donít take anything real seriously and enjoy yourself. Best beer joint Iíve found in the Gatlinburg area.

Service was terrible...walked in...owner/cook made a smart comment to our group then went on talking to the table next to ours while we waited for service. He continued to talk even after we ordered and were waiting for our food to be prepared. Beer took forever, food took even longer. Donít waste your time.

A very nice small pub with British pub fare. Food was very good, not too many options but that is a good thing when they concentrate upon doing a few things well. Quite a few beers on tap, a good selection, plus a number of good choices bottled. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Before my wife and I left for vacation in the Smokies, I did my research on BA to find out where the best craft beer drinking holes were. On the last day of our vacation, we ended up in this neck of the woods. After a day of arts and craft shopping, a few fantabulous brews were in order, so we ended up here. What a treat!
Awesome atmosphere, with a massive staircase leading up to the pub, bookcases to give it that homely feel, and some TVs to keep customers entertained.
Some of the beers: Sweetwater IPA and Blue, a couple of Yazoo selections, some Highland standards, and many more. The bartender wasnít exactly a beer afficianado, but she was very friendly and more than willing to find out the answers to any questions we had if she didnít know them offhand.
After a while, the owner came out and talked to us for a good bit. When I mentioned that I learned about his place from BA, he lit up. Before we left, he gave us a business card and handed me a brand new Fox and Parrot/Magic Hat collaboration pint glass. Whoa! Not only does he have a lot of care and respect for the reputation of his business, he also treats his customers like gold.
Also, definitely order the Scotch eggs. Theyíre dynamite!

Found by accident - really glad we did. We enjoyed a really good meal with some outstanding beers. Truly a gem. One of the most friendly pubs Iíve visited.

We have visited this establishment several times over the last couple of years. We keep coming back for the vast and ever-changing selection of import and microbrew beers that are on tap. The tap and bottle selections are extensive. My wife and I vacation here in the Smoky Mountain region annually. We both admire the beer selection the food and the outgoing kindness of the staff. If it is a game of darts that you desire, The Fox and Parrot has the supplies you need to practice that game of Cricket, 301, 501, or that game of "Just for Fun." If the owner is available, he may just join in on a game or twelve also. This man has a lot of talent when it comes to darts. The food is excellent. Belly-up to the living room style bar, order a pint of your favorite beer, order some food, and make new friends at this Oasis in Gatlinburg.

With the service rated so low you may wonder how the overall is so high? The palace is just that good.
Ambiance is GREAT. I love the at home feel to the place. mismatched everything! I love it.
Service is slllooowwww, (I even got my own beer once because no one was out front)but everything is homemade from scratch so kick back watch the big tele and have a beer while you wait.
Selection is the best in the area bar none, Period. Next nearest place with even semi decent beer is a VERY long way away from this place. So this place gets a phenominal 15 on selection!
Food is out of this world good. the service being slow does not matter once you get your food. THE BEST fish and chips known to man, THE BEST Reuben I have ever had. Pretty much anything I had I loved on this menu.
Value, it is not expensive! I was shocked once I got my bill (every time I have gone) Witht he type of beer I like I was shocked the price is not higher.
Overall, if you want faster food there is another pub down the street where they sever Square fish with French Fries (no I am not kidding they call it fish and chips, but eh?) Yeah the service is lacking here but it is made up for with phenomenal quality and a at home feel to the place. Say hi to Bryan the owner and tell him the couple from jersey still talk about his place!

I passed the sign for this place before I processed what the sign said: English Ales & Darts. I stopped, turned around and saw that the other side of the sign advertised 85 beers. For the beer connoisseur the selection may be a wee bit of a disappointment, although the selection was well beyond anything else I saw in the Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg vicinity. The focus is on English ales, so there are no Belgians. But I found a couple of American micros Iíd not tried and was very satisfied with the service and draught quality, price, etc. The ambiance is great, tons of English memorabilia, flags, soccer jerseys, and as promised, proper dart boards. The FOOD is AMAZING if you like pub fare. My wife had the fish and chips (perfectly authentic, served on newspaper with malt vinegar) and I got the best corned beef Reuben Iíve ever tasted. The owner cooked all the food himself and talked shop about beer with me for half an hour. Heís trying to wrangle a 3 bbl setup so go buy a pint from him and support his effort. Great place!
