76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 Jetulio (2) Tarragona.SPAIN, Spain | October 31, 2012 Little place with 6 hand-pumps for ale.
Nice atmosphere when Harlequins (my rugby club) are playing, I love every pub of twicks because that, sorry ;-)
Good food. | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 12/20 Theydon_Bois (394) The ’Sham, England | September 30, 2012 Most recent visit April ’12. Smallish traditional pub with a modern extended area, lragely for dining, and a patio area out of the back. Owned by Twickenham Taverns (same people as the Sussex Arms) but nowhere near the ever changing range of beers.
On my last visit the ubiquitous Doom Bar was accompanied by Pride and 2 Twickenham beers - Sundancer and Naked Ladies (always at least one beer from Twickenham every time I’ve visited). Ok for a quick pop in if you’re passing but no destination venue in it’s own right! | 54 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 10/20 Boudicca (389) London, England | June 3, 2012 A no nonsense pub on the main pedestrian street. It’s rather bare inside but has a pleasant beer garden with parasols and bench tables at the back. There are perhaps three hand pumps (with Twickenham Naked Ladies, Youngs London Porter and Sharp Doom Bar when we were there).
(Visited 10 March 2012). | 50 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 10/20 Alphadelic (56) Portland, Oregon | April 5, 2009 The most redeeming thing about this pub is its regular turnover of the local Twickenham ales. Atmosphere-wise this really isn’t the place to be. Dead and dingy. |
