I loved this place! Fantastic house brews and a ton of great guest taps as well. Food is delish, great service and a cool atmosphere make this probably the best place in SA. I had a sampler of 10 Sours!!!! Where else can you do that? All were very good as well. I will come here everytime im in SA. One of the top brewers in TX!

Visited here in early June í15 while in the area for business. Open-air kind of feel to this brewpub, nothing fancy or pretentious - more like a sports bar that just happens to be brew some pretty solid beers - and lots of them. Had at least 16 on tap I would say and a few guest taps. the three I had were pretty solid I chose low ABV selections as I had a decent drive back to my hotel, Food was pretty solid - I had a Greek pizza and was satisfied. Had the usual burgers, wraps, sandwiches etc. Worth a visit if in the San Antonio area.

Their beer is very good. Selection changes depending on what they have. I was dissapointed that at the time they did not have any sours. Food is average

Nice brewpub that features brick oven pizza. Flight of beers (4) was $6.50 and a pint was $4.25. About a dozen beers of theirs on tap. Decent quality, but nothing too exciting that I tried. Pizza was nice. Worth a visit.

7 Freetail beers on tap plus a copuple more in bottle only as weel as about 4 guest taps, 2 of wich were used by ciders.
Wood fired oven produces good pizza. Good salad too. A bit pricey.

An average spot with one exception, the service. The service was abysmal. The selection of beers is good and the menu is acceptable.

Ambiance: Cool, wide open footprint with tables everywhere and a bar that covered a full corner of the building, Freetail breweriana all over the walls, TVs everywhere and a solid patio too. Family friendly.
Service: Decent service, friendly bartenders and servers, semi knowledgeable about their beers.
Selection: they had 11 house taps and 5 guest taps when I was there. The guest taps were all TX beers and decent...the in house beers ranged from decent to pedestrian. All the good stuff makes it to bottle.
Food: Pizza was solid...nice brick oven pizza made with fresh ingredients.
Value: Pizza was a little over priced but decent for what you got. Beers were 5-6 pint, some beers were worth it, some a little over priced.
Overall: a great place to stop in and have a beer and some food, hopefully the in house beers were just at a lull during my visit.

Stopped by during trip to SA. Inside was very noisy due to trivia contest?? Sat outside which was nice in April. No beer list had to walk to chalkboard. Service and food were fine

Overall, a pretty good brewpub to grab a bite and some bottles to go. Went when I was visiting San Antonio. Good tap selection, prices are fair, but the food is actually pretty darn good too. Definitely worth checking out if youíre in SA.

Large place just off 1604. Beware extensive traffic if youíre arriving around rush hour. Tons of parking. Inside is very large with a small bar. Large patio with a really nice view at sunset. Beers are OK. Food isnít bad. Great prices on both. Flights of five, so I needed two, plus two extra samples, to cover all the beers they had on tap. A nice stop.

I didnít eat here, but the food looked good. Sampler flights available of any of the house beers. Everything I had was average or a bit above. Service was good. Prices seemed reasonable.
