Went to Freshcraft this past Tuesday for grand opening. Apparently theyíd had a soft open for a while which was evident - service, food, beer were all excellent. We only had appetizers but quite a few things I saw on the menu that will get me back down there. And although itís not the largest selection of beer in downtown, what they do have is an awesome eye for good craft beer. Even had a Bristol Compass IPA on nitro which Iíd not seen elsewhere yet. Iíll definitely be back and Iíve already recommended it to both my beer geek friends and "regular" friends.
Visited for the first time whilst over from the UK. Great selection on the 20 taps available. Happy hour 3 - 7 which made a difference. Very pleasant staff who made me very welcome. Food very reasonable too. Seem to have a rarer selection of beers than Falling Rock. Loved it.

Excellent service with a knowledgeable staff. Quality beer selection. Great food. A must if youíre n Denver.
This is a top notch beer bar with excellent food. The layout is spacious for the room theyíve got. Exposed brick and wooden furnishings keep things classy. Our bartender was simply great. They have a decent lunch special: buy a certain meal and receive a $2 pint, as well as $1 off appetizers and $4 pints during happy hour. Otherwise, the prices are pretty fair anyway. There were a solid 24 taps spanning a good variety and including a few rarities. This is the first place Iíve seen Fat Head in Colorado. We had the cheese fritters with the Iowa style pork sandwich. The meal was absolutely top notch. The music over the speakers was a good mix of modern stuff and a few R&B songs thrown in for good measure. I approve. I will definitely be back.
Did someone miss the 100+ bottled beers? In a crowded week of touring this was the only bar in Denver I discovered that came close to tapping Falling Rock on the shoulder and saying, "Hi, weíre just behind you." This seems to be where brewers like to drink and that says a lot. Good food, a clever selction of beers, well-trained staff and wanting to improve further however ity can. Itís a winner.
The food was inventive and thoroughly enjoyable. The beer selection wasnít overwhelming, but I found some winners on the list. Be advised that a supplemental list contains about a dozen beers that arenít on the regular menu.
Comfortable, typical downtown shotgun style bar with lots of tables in back for food service. The number of brews is not overwhelming but the selections are pretty nice with a regional emphasis, and it seems that local one-offs are available most of the time. Service at the bar at lunchtime and a little on beyond was outstanding even as it became fairly busy. The food menu sounded awesome, but the Iowa pork T sandwich and roasted vegetables I had were quite average. Still, itís a good beer destination. Prices were quite reasonable for both food and beer.
