Visited during GABF 2014 weekend
From outside it looks like a small bar. Inside itís narrow and long. Nice long bar and plenty of seating. When we got there it was packed in front at the bar but hardly anybody in the back. Good service and food. The tap list was nothing special but had a few new beers I hadnít had.
Stopped in for dinner and a beer with a couple of girlfriends (who are non-beer people but were game). Everyone enjoyed it. It was a Friday and it was busy so it was a little loud, but the place was nice- lots of modern wood and black accents. They were slammed but we still got good service at the bar and the bartender (owner?) knew his stuff. Good selection with a good mix of local and not and a little something for everyone. The food was good- german influence, nicely done. Prices seemed average. You could hang at the bar by yourself, or go on a date, or with a group- versatile.
This is an attractive restaurant with a long narrow look. There is a nice bar at the front with a dozen barstools and about 20 booths in the rear. The barkeep was friendly and helpful. There is also a full liquor selection and two TVs at the bar. Didnít try the food, but it looked good.
A nice restaraunt with a huge bar in a trendy part of town. Service was very good and they knew beer. Selection was pretty big but nothing particular exciting. Food was upscale bistro food, well done but nothing great. Prices are high, but expected for this type of place. Overall a nice place.
Long, skinny place with a nice bar up front and restaurant seating in back. Quite a nice taplist, bottle list on the other hand is fairly pedestrian. Staff is helpful and know what they are talking about. Prices are reasonable. Didnít try the food, but i would like to at some point.

Good location in LoDo near 16th St. Mall and the Pepsi Center. Nice beer bar ambience, pretty typical. The service is good and the staff is knowledgeable. They have a pretty good selection of about 25 rotating taps and a good bottle list. Definitely worth a visit if youíre in the area.

Visited early evening on a Tuesday for beers with a friend. Long narrow room, with an L shaped bar and tables all the way to the back. Two digital beer boards showcased the impressive selection. Service was prompt, even though they were mobbed pre-Avalanche game. I had a couple glasses of Trinity sour and enjoyed myself. Didnít eat, though the food I saw coming out looked really tasty. Great spot, though I can imagine this place gets absolutely jammed on busier nights.
82 = ★★★Ĺ (Solid place, near the top of the list for locals and visitors)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Made a couple stops here during GABF week, and it was packed both times. Large tap list with lots of special beers available due to the festival. The bar area is quite cramped, particularly when there are hundreds of people trying to drink here. Thereís a narrow walkway back to a dining area in the rear, which was slightly better to stand in, but sort of awkward since servers are trying to navigate and people are sitting and eating/drinking. The service is quite good, even with the crowds. Would certainly return, hopefully during a less crowded time.
This is a top notch beer bar with excellent food. The layout is spacious for the room theyíve got. Exposed brick and wooden furnishings keep things classy. Our bartender was simply great. They have a decent lunch special: buy a certain meal and receive a $2 pint, as well as $1 off appetizers and $4 pints during happy hour. Otherwise, the prices are pretty fair anyway. There were a solid 24 taps spanning a good variety and including a few rarities. This is the first place Iíve seen Fat Head in Colorado. We had the cheese fritters with the Iowa style pork sandwich. The meal was absolutely top notch. The music over the speakers was a good mix of modern stuff and a few R&B songs thrown in for good measure. I approve. I will definitely be back.
