Unexpected visit after a long hike near Multnomah Falls - forgot this brewery was out here. Hood River seemed like a real cool town, and the couple Full Sail offerings I had in the past have been good, so pulled in for a stop. View from the brewpub is awesome overlooking the Columbia River - top notch ambiance! Service was above average, and the appetizers we shared were quite tasty. Good selection of beer, and I must say, Full Sail does a great job at lower ABV beers - left very impressed with the beer as well as with the prices...$10 for 30 oz of sampler with a complimentary glass is good in my book. Absolute gem and would happily drive down 84 to visit again in the future

In contrast to another local spot we tried twice to visit, this place was very professional. Nice place, boat loads of beer on tap. Next time we will eat here as the food we saw looked tasty.

The Full Sail brewpub feels more like a commercial restaurant in a tourist town than a brewery. Itís a really nice space, but itís more for families than people traveling around scouting out beer haunts. The beer is absolutely solid. The place is solid. There is nothing wrong with it. There is just nothing special about it.

Been here a few times while passing through on I-84. Always worth a stop to check what they have on tap. The food is great as well and the service is always top notch. Beautiful river view to enjoy with the brews.

Very nice view. Big area with outdoor seating. Nice selection and good food. Bartender questioned my selection of the Berliner warning me its slight sour

Brewpub with a nice terrace overlooking the river (and the freeway, and the railway). Food was good and they have a nice selection of their beers including seasonals. They offer tasters, but you canít make your own selection for those..

I visited Full Sail while roadtripping through Oregon and Washington. We arrived just in time to get a brewery tour. While the tour wasnít anything you wouldnít get at any other similar sized brewery, it was fun and informative. After the tour we got to try all the beers they had on tap which was around 8-10. The tasting room was really nice, and the town was really cool. Hopefully I will be able to make it back to Hood River and Full Sail in the future.

My wife and I stopped in here on a day trip along the Columbia River Gorge. Hood River is a cool town and the brewery plays up the windsurfing theme that itís popular for. The place looks like a big production brewery from outside but the pub is cozy, warm, and vibrant, with a tiered deck with tables that overlook the river. The tap list has the standards and a handful of seasonals; plenty of stuff Iíd never tried or heard of. Bombers are only $4 there, which was awesome. We didnít eat but the food looked solid. Waitress was good but busy because it was crowded. No one was on the deck because of the rain. Overall, an excellent place. Make the trip up the gorge and visit here if youíre in or near Portland.

Visited here for the 2nd time in August í12 (first time was Pre-RB day in 2001). Enjoyed a wonderful dinner overlooking the gorge - great locally organic grown food for the most part. Had the Greek gyro - delicious. Had about 18 of their beers on tap with their standards as well as local selections brewed by their own staff for sale only there. All were above average. Service is energetic and friendly. Took the tour on my way back through several days later. Very personable and friendly. Worth a trip to Hood River if in the Portland area.

Full Sail Brewing is located in beautiful Hood River along the Columbia River. The taproom is one of the nicest I have been to at a brewery. The service was quick even though it was crowded. The selection featured the in-season offerings as well as a few surprises (a vintage barleywine comes to mind). I went on the brewery tour and it is amongst the best I have been on. While I am only a fan of certain Full Sail beers this should be at the top of your list for great breweries to visit.
