88 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 18/20 Hanuta06 (28) Washington | December 17, 2012| Updated December 22, 2012 Full Throttle may be smaller than some dedicated beer stores in the Seattle area, but they still have a great selection of beers (and wines) from which to chose. Despite the small size of the store, they leave enough room in the aisles, so a person can walk around without constantly bumping into others. The staff has always been really friendly and attentive and has offered to find beers for me that they don’t have on the shelves. They update their customers via email when they get new or rare beers in stock, and they often offer beer tastings. They have a frequent buyers program to keep their customers coming back. Full Throttle may not have the overwhelming selection that a big-box store has, but do people really need that many choices? I can easily spend an hour browsing this store, and I always walk away satisfied with what I’ve found. There is something to be said for the small, mom and pop store where the staff genuinely cares about their customers. Full Throttle is my favorite store! | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 BuckeyeBoy (93) Boise, Idaho | June 9, 2013| Updated December 22, 2012 I have been in a few times. A great place to find some rare stuff. It is kind of small but a great selection. | 86 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 AguynamedTodd (89) Illinois | April 27, 2013| Updated December 22, 2012 One of the best bottle shops in the area. Had a nice selection of local/regional beers. Bought some hard to find beers. Erika is very attentive and works hard to find beers you are looking for. I’ll definitely go back whenever I’m in the region | 92 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 jcnielsen (143) Kansas City, Missouri | August 21, 2012| Updated December 22, 2012 I was traveling through Seattle and wanted to pick up some beers for the road. I loved the selection of individual bottles. I could have easily picked up over 100 beers that I hadn’t tried before. I asked the staff to recommend beers since I was overwhelmed with new beers to choose from. They were very helpful in their recommendations, and I was very happy in the beers they recommended. | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 17/20 bbmathlvr (2) Vancouver, British Columbia | August 6, 2012| Updated December 22, 2012 Pretty great spot. Has a fantastic selection including some really rare finds. Service was good but not fantastic. My biggest issue was the prices. I think that there are places with similar selection but are somewhat cheaper. | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 CampesinoTino (71) Seattle, Washington | February 19, 2012| Updated December 22, 2012 Made the journey to Georgetown specifically to shop here and did not come away disappointed. There’s plenty of room to browse without feeling cluttered like most bottle shops and the service and selection are top notch. My haul included bottles of Pliny, Sucaba and a couple of beers from Odin and Pelican. | 96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 19/20 rickstah (2) Washington | February 8, 2012| Updated December 22, 2012 This is my go-to bottle shop in the Seattle area. Excellent selection of beers stored properly and in a proper environment. The store is in an aging building across from the original Rainier brewery in the Georgetown area of Seattle. From the creaky wood floors to the mishmash array of coolers the ambiance just pops with a gritty, blue collar feeling that makes you feel at ease. If you need beer, wine, or cider in the Seattle area, this is the place to go. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 curly (114) Kirkland, Washington | January 31, 2012| Updated December 22, 2012 Nice selection, Erika was very helpful and obviously passionate about what she does. They had a nice selection of beer glasses as well. | 84 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 Smurf2055 (26) Seattle, Washington | December 24, 2011| Updated February 11, 2012 A bit pricey and inconvenient to get to, but the owner is nice, and the facebook site does a good job keeping updated. You can get the rare beers here. Overall though, it’s nothing you can’t find at one of the other Seattle bottleshops, and it’s usually a bit more pricey. I still shop here on occasion. | 94 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 20/20 sblakey (1) Seattle, Washington | December 27, 2010| Updated February 11, 2012 Erika has always provided excellent customer service, earning loyal customers for life. She has been very helpful with special orders, and even took care of ordering the beer, wine, and cider for our wedding. |
