I went here during a short layover in Rensselaer while westbound on Ambak from Boston to Chicago. The train conductor recommended it. It’s a few blocks away from the station which you can see. I got there and there were only a couple of customers and an attractive young lady bartender. I had a couple of tap beers, one was a regional and the other a Red Hook. Bartender allowed me to get a photo of her outside and also took a couple of breaks to go outside for phone calls. She was pleasant and chatty. Place had a metal flake bar top, a wood rail elbow rest, and brass pipe foot rest. Stone tile floors and dropped ceiling & ceiling fans. Wood barstools with back rest. Ok place; decent for a break while the train waits for its additional cars to be added.
