I’ve been here once, wasn’t crazy about it. Got a ’trying way too hard’ vibe. Uber post modern decor, wasn’t a fan of that. The draught list was nice enough, felt like they were getting their footing. Food was a little on the pricey side IMO and I did not enjoy the steak I got. I’ll probably go back at some point though.

The location is a bit odd as it is tucked in the rear of a nondescript office building. It is setup much more as a restaurant than a bar/pub. It had a polished high tech decor with very low lighting. So low one could hardly make out what was on tap. The only beer menu was on a computer tablet. and with one at the bar it did not lend it’s self to being something to peruse while enjoying your first.
Somewhat odd selection for the taps dominated by local offerings, I like my IPA’s and there was one double and a Belgian.IPA Missing in my mind were any solid craft beers which would have been a welcome addition to the local offerings I had one Foothills Seeing Double and then went to a bottled Bells 2 Hearted served in a VERY tall pilsner glass which seemed odd and uninformed. I like to enjoy the aroma of good IPA
The menu was reasonable though price. II only wanted a snack and ended up with some less than stellar oysters.
I think I was the only one in the in the place that was alone and everyone else was eating dinner very quietly so it did not have a real bar feel to it all.
In the end I was hard pressed to think of a reason I would want to go back .Perhaps I missed the point in not having dinner but the experience with the oysters was not compelling

Been to this new place a couple of times now. We enjoyed our first visit, and were even more impressed the second time around. The decor is a bit Miami Vice in a certain way, but pleasantly sleek (and considering that most gastropubs default to rustic and woody, kudos for the changeup). Digital menus are a nice touch, since they’re always updated and easy to navigate. Good wine and cocktail list, and a very good selection of beer too. 14 taps that cover a wide range, with an emphasis on local stuff. Seasonals well represented, and there are lots of pilsners and saisons to pair well with the terrific food (and it’s really quite good food, with very helpful and knowledgeable recommendations from staff). 25-30 regular bottles on the list, with an equally solid range. But between the first and second visit they’ve added a reserve bottle list, with some nice cellared brews and bigger bottles like BA Boris, BP Sea Monster, etc. Killer cheese and charcuterie, up and coming beer joint. Check ’em out.
