A decent, though not spectacular local tap selection. No good bottled beers, just the usual domestic and imported standards. The WiFi works.

Long bar with large number of taps. Taps focus on light, readily available local crafts. Going for the person looking to sample basic BC craft but not necessarily for the geek.

Super beer bar with a super selection. Great service and the food is very good. Right in the heart of Victoria night life so get there early.

The bar itself is beautiful, with a huge bar and tons of taps with a separate dining area. The beer was just ok. Lots of taps of every local breweries normal line up. They also carry macros which is annoying considering what the bar is. Pricey, almost the most expensive place I went to. Where this place falls down is the horrific service, I almost walked out on my bill. Usually the culprit is a waitress who doesn’t know beer, this time it is 2 bartenders serving a total of 8 customers. People around me were asking why I didn’t order a drink not realizing that the staff were going out of there way to ignore me. Since when is wiping glasses more important than filling my glass? Eventually the other patrons started to feel my pain and we all tried to leave but couldn’t get our bills. I feel bad as it was highly recommended, but I don’t want to give them a second chance.

Good Victoria beer bar, with a hell of a lot of taps. Almost everything locally made and easily available here, with a couple of extra surprises. Was hear to watch the Leafs lose on screen. Friendly crowd. Probably the pub with the largest amount of taps in Victoria, right i the centre tourist district. They give small samples to taste the different styles here. Good place.

My favourite Vic beer-destination just got better. They’ve increased their taps from 20 to 44 and likely tripled their floorspace. The kitchen is about as good as it gets at a downtown bar. The Keepers Stout is fairly fresh on tap as is the Fat Tug.

This place was awesome. They cook almost everything behind the bar. They have maybe 10 taps? Almost all local brews. Plenty of seating, and I think they had 2 fireplaces and a few tv’s. The best part was the server. He throws coasters down and yells that the islander and the grasshopper is on special, then walks away for a few minutes. That may sound bad, but the service was actually pretty good. This is not a place for beer nerds and snobs. If I lived in Victoria, I"d be here all the time.
