42 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 8/20 abemorsten (103) Mosterøy, Norway | November 4, 2012 Friendly staff that quickly found a place for us in the second floor on a Saturday evening. My friends however found the place dark and dirty and the majority voted not to eat here. Got a chance to look at the menu and seemed fair priced. Not an impressive beer menu, but I might come back both to eat and try their Kreuzberger Molle. | 66 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 Allen (19) , Switzerland | November 8, 2009 Just saw that I forgot to rate this place. Very friendly staff, enjoyed the Keller-Pils most. Beautiful sorrounding. Visited with Quack-Duck. | 64 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 Quack-Duck (166) Down South, Germany | July 9, 2009 Visited on July 9th, 2009 together with fellow ratebeerian Allen. Brewery and restaurant in in the hills above Kressbronn with lovely views over the lake of Constance, deep into Swietzerland and the Alps (the weather permitting). Nice beer garden with trees outside. Unfortunately we had to move inside during lunch because of torrential rain - but the inside is fin, too.Modern yet cosy interieur with views on the brewery equipment. The menu offers standard German dishes as well as South German specialities such as Maultaschen and Fleischkäs. The food was well-prepared, tasty and came in large quantity. The place is not cheap, but concerning the views and the quality the prices are more than ok. Three different beers on tap (Keller-Pils, Spezial and Hefeweizen). Staff was attentive and very friendly. If you’re on holiday near the Lake of Constance/Bodensee this is well worth a visit. Beer is available to take away in 1l and 2l bottles as well as in 5l mini-casks. |
