Very picturesque brewery inside and specially outside. Located in the shore of Jungfernsee, it has great view over the lake. Couple of 100 meters from the park to the south which worth to check as well.. Beers are rather decent, Meierei Hell was good unfiltered, they also serve their own Berliner Weisse. Price is cheap and food little snacks are also accommodated on the menu. Definitely worth the visit just for the scenery which some unfiltered brew beer.

They local transit authority may have changed the route numbering since Marko visited, it’s currently #603 to Höhenstraße and about a minute’s walk from there (it’s also right on the Mauerradweg if you’re into cycling). Didn’t go inside, but who would want to on such a gorgeous day? Seems like a lot of others had the same idea, a popular place among both tourists and locals, lots of picnic tables and stunning views of the lake. Beers weren’t terribly good, but weren’t bad. A note from today that might save you some time (or a missed tick): there were two queues, one for food and beer, the other only for beer, and the offerings were different at the end of each line. Highly recommended for the outside ambiance.

Large brewpub in a beautiful part of Potsdam, the capital of the state of Brandenburg. In a building that lay derelict since WW II, painstakingly rebuilt. Nice interior, large terrace outside next to the lake, great view on the Jungfernsee. Food is good, beers are decent. Bus connection from the city center, tram + bus from the station. You can also get there by boat.

The perfect place to end a day trip to Potsdam. After visiting the gardens and palaces of Potsdam we went to see Cecilienhof. A few beer by the lake on a sunny Sunday afternoon was very nice. We walked both ways. It was about 3 kilometers walk from the city centre.

Visited with Tomaz. Nice location with an insane amount of work that went into rebuilding the whole area and building. A great area to begin with, loaded with history from the Cecilienhof spot of the Potsdam Conference of 1945 to the surrounding park, residence to Frederick II. The whole place is filled with the vibes of history. Visit this place in the summer and try it in the winter when the water is frozen and snow covers the ground and you have one nice atmosphere. The brewery has an inside dining area as well as outdoor where you can order light food and beers, while having a nicer menu inside. Growlers can be bought and filled inside. Found the beers to be interesting as far as taste goes, the choice much like everywhere in Germany is limited to the Hell, Spezial (seasonal) and the Weizen which was also available. Service is nice, the staff still finds time to joke and chat even if at times there can be one crazy line forming for beers. The older guy - metal dude filling the beers is just pissed off most of the time until you pay your beer or unless you have boobs. I guess this spot is the proof that you can make up for the lack of beer by having one hell of a nice location. This place fits that bill.

The beer garden is a perfect spot on a sunny day, and two of the three beers on offer were really good. You can choose between the self-service area or sit down for table service. Did not try the food except the freshly baked bretzels. Relaxed, family friendly. If you are on one of the hop off hop on bus tours of Porsdam, this is very close to one of the stops, the guide even mentions the brewery.

Nice restaurant and brewpub situated north of Neuer Garten, not far from the castle Cecilienhof (famous for the Potsdam conference). It is quite far from the Potsdam city center, and thus even further from the Potsdam Central Station. But there is a bus (well described by Marko below) and a boat taxi (but check the timetable if you are planning to take that). Nice and cosy restaurant with stone walls and wooden furniture. Great outdoor area with lovely views over the Jungfernsee and river Havel. Service was efficient and friendly enough. They had three beers of their own on my visit: Weizen, Hell and the lovely Potsdamer Schwarzbier. Food was ok. A bit out of the way, but worth a visit if you have the time.
