This one is a quite big venue, with the "obvious" entrance being for eating customers only, the beer only entrance was around the corner. Very friendly service, although claimed the Weizen to be their own beer (not the one by Bruch), made at these premises... Quite a busy place, even in the middle of the week, but at the same time there were still tables ready. Very nice and comfortable atmosphere and some of the staff was interested in how two Finns found their way to their place.

Visited on a busy evening, got a bit confused finding the place but worth it. Tradtional taphouse, good range of beers on and managed to try all the draft ones. Service and food good. Happier it was my second to last Bunder for a beer in Germany!

Standard German brauhaus, and that’s not a bad thing. The service was both polite, helpful and efficient. They have Hell, Dunkel and a seasonal of their own. My visit being in the summer time the seasonal was a weizen, which wasn’t as good as the two others. I enjoyed both the Hell and the Dunkel. The food is good and classic German with schnitzel, bratkartofeln and that sort of thing.

A large building with a cuple of entrances and an outside seting area on St Johanner Markt. There is also a beer garden inside in the middle. There was the choice of 6 draught beers from their own Stiefel brewery and from Bruch. Inside is reserved for eating only, but as the footy was on, outside was packed and the only place left to sit was inside orm in the inner beer garden. The waitress was quite friendly. Our Bruch No. 1 Pilsner was served in a boot shaped glass. (The Stiefelbrau beers are not on here to add)

Nice large brewpub (and brewery-tap) in the Center of Saarbrücken. It was very crowded when I was there, so we set in the Biergarten behind the building - atmosphere there was ok, but nothing really nice. The brewpub inside would have been nicer. I only had their Weizen, nice beer. Food was ok, service friendly. --> I’ll go there again!

Visited this pub on the 4/10-2012. Large brewpub / gastropub downtown citycenter. Possible to park in the citycenter ( be aware lots of one-way streets ). Very nice, spacy place, friendly staff and the 3 beers we had from tap was well conditioned. They do both regular and season beers. They do some great food, worth going there again, if in the area :-)

On a nice day, you can sit in the small courtyard, if not there’s plenty of room inside, divided in different spaces. One of them is the brewpub/bar where you can see the shiny copper brew kettles. Looks pretty neat. Service was very different. In the afternoon we had a young girl, acting rather unprofessional, not paying attention at her customers and when paying, she just took her tip by rounding up numbers as she returned our money. The rudeness... In the evening, we had an older man waiting us and he did a perfect job. Despite the fact that the restaurant was very busy and their job was stressfull, the man still had time for a joke, was always smiling and very professional. The selection of beers is sufficiant to keep you busy for an afternoon, but not to come back again the next day. The usual German stuff, some Helles, Dunkles (a very decent one!) and Weizen. Food was pretty decent, had the local "stuffed knodel" and veal schnitzel. Portions are not too small. Very good crème brûlée as a dessert. Too bad the beer version of it was not available on the menu (only for groups). Overall a decent place to have you dinner if you’re in the city.

In the shopping area of Saarbruecken - large restaurant with several different areas - large outdoor area (during nice weather). Good regional food and family friendly. A nice place - also carry some Bruch beers.

Nice centrally situated brew pub, with very good food. The beer was good, but not exceptional. Despite that, well worth a visit if in the area. There is also a pricey Belgian beer cafe 5 minutes walk away.

Lovely brewpub in the centre of Saarbruecken, 2 stops on the tram from the Hauptbahnhof. Unfiltered helles and dunkel and when we went an unusual tasting saisonbier called Roggenbier. Seemed to do food all open hours
