Open setting with big windows, one doesn’t feel cramped for space, yet the environment is cozy enough from the dark wooden furniture and features and hand scrawled chalk boards. Easy enough to talk amongst friends even with other patrons sitting nearby. The more aromatic dishes seem to permeate the entire place for a few minutes unfortunately more noticeably than most other places I’ve ever visited. A regular Cantillon tap is great and the bottle selection is quite good. There didn’t seem to be a continually updated bottle list, unfortunately. Most of the bottles are visible in the coolers, but there are others in the back and under the bar counter. It seems that some notable bottle additions are listed here: http://www.oluttampere.net/ . I didn’t try the food this my first time at Gastropub Tuulensuu. The bar staff was quite willing to provide extra glasses for bottle sharing and no one fussed about not ordering food or drinking so slowly. Large cigar humidor present. A must visit in Tampere.

Very nice place. The selection varies a bit, but usually they have lots of beers (own imported Belgians) as well as "their" standard Belgians. Usually you can find a place to sit, and the service has been extremely good those times I’ve been there. I have had the fortune of having the owner working 2 of the 3 times I’ve been there so far. Food is good, but quite expensive. Definitively a place to visit if you’re beerhunting in Tampere.

They claim to have 60 different Belgium beers. Also lots of cigars available. I didn’t eat so can’t rate it. Update: Rotating selection of beers, thet usually have own imports from Belgium, Holland, Germany etc. Cantillon is regular on tap. Propably #1 beer place in Tampere. Nice quiet dining type bar. Edit. nowadays one of my favourite beer bars in Finland. Lots of rarities and super service.
