In walking distance from Alexanderplatz, bit a bit secluded so in a charming and quiet part of town. The selection is pretty poor as they only have 2-4 beers made on location. The food is classic german. Service is both fast and friendly. Not really a place you go searching for, but drop in if youíre in the neighbourhood.
Not far from Alexanderplatz. Quite big outdoor section and rather crowded on a monday afternoon. Two of their own beers on tap, but tve beers are poor. Nice place to sit down for while, but no need to drink the beers unless you wanna tick them.
Expensive, slow service, tables reserved without reason - to herd people together when it is quiet, I think. Beers disappointing. But a wonderful setting - lots of room outside, by the river, in an olde worlde touristy area. Was closed when we went late on Monday evening. Food looked good.
Georgbršu is located in the Nikolaiviertel, only few minutes walk from the Berliner Dom and Museumsinsel. Despite the central location, there were not much tourists at the time of visit in December 2012. The beer selection is rather poor and covers only two brews of their own: Helles and Dunkel. I tasted the latter, which was refreshing, but a bit light in body. Glassware is sold at the counter.
