Hard to rate this store because they are limited by Kansas laws. The other Gomer’s stores are in Missouri and have a better selection in my opinion. The staff is friendly, prices are fair, and the store is clean and organized. I just prefer the other locations. For Kansas this is a good place.

Finally made it in here while up for the NASCAR weekend, great place very nice selection of beers cant get in Junction city. Picked up GI Matilda, Demoltion and Pere Jacques and also Maredsous Abbaye Abdij Tripel 10 great store need to start taking monthly trip up

Not a bad stop if you are out on that far side of the city. Still not my favorite Gomer’s. but beats South and Midtown in selection. I didn’t get great service, but it’s obvious they are working to keep a decent selection and new beers, which I appreciate.

A good-sized store with friendly helpful staff, and a good number of RateBeer tags printed out on many of the higher-quality brews. For the size of the store, the beer selection is proportionally smaller than many others I’ve been to, but the corner of "rare" beers includes some that aren’t carried by others in town. Also, this Gomer’s has just about every beer Rogue makes (or so it seems)!

A nice varied selection with a fair amount of singles. I have stopped in a few times and always got a few nice new beers. The staff was helpful and friendly. I appreciate that they make an effort to get new brews in house. Certainly worth a stop if you are in that part of KC.

although this place has a large selection, the beer manager is a total d-bag.he is full of himself.the store is a dump, dusty botttles and unorganized, but a good selection. over priced for how big the store is. i have found almost as good of selection as this store elsewhere, with cheaper prices. if you are going to be in KC, stop by lukas in missouri, they have a HUGE selection. Gomer’s has always been known for their unpolite owner as well!

Visited on March 12th - early afternoon. Certainly this is right up there with Lukas in Overland Park for the best beer stores I have been to in the KC Metro - Kansas side. The selection is about as good as Kansas Distribution will allow, and very well organized in its own corner. Mix a six had some decent selections. Overall a nice store. The beer manager is natedoggkc here on the site, and certainly knows his beer. If you are visiting KC from out of town, and want to hit a Kansas side store, this or Lukas will do fine.

One of the better stores on the Kansas side. Good staff and a pretty solid selection. Great selection of bombers, Rogue in particular for some reason. Lots of singles available, not just for build your own, but also some higher priced beers broken out for single sales. Decent prices. Not a lot of cooler space for craft beer is my only complaint.

The closest store to me and by far the best all around liquor store I have ever been to. The staff has a great knowledge of not just beer but other alcohol as well. This store has a great selection of beer from all round the world in every category. Plus, You have gotta love all the crazy liquor advertising stuff all over the place.

My closest go-to store on the Kansas side. Many of the guys that work here are into craft beer and have sampled most of their wares. That alone is rare. A solid selection of the micros available in Kansas: Avery, Great Divide, North Coast, Left Hand, Boulder, Ommegang, Flying Dog, Goose Island, Lost Coast, and a better selection of Rogue than I’ve seen on the Missouri side. They also carry a smattering of solid beers from the UK, Belgium and Germany. You can buy a rotating selection of singles, and they’ll usually break a 4 or 6-pack if you ask (for a nominal mark-up). Better service and a more knowledgable staff makes this my favorite shop on this side of the state line.
