My wife and I were in the area and checked this out. First thing we were greeted by a very friendly staff who offered us free Yuengling for being first-timers. The variety is pretty good too, and you donít have to buy a case of it! I used the opportunity to buy a 4 pack of Founders Breakfast Stout, not available in MD. Hung around for a little while, filled a growler with something my wife and I could agree on. If Iím ever in the area again totally coming here.

For a place located in an industrial park, itís pretty awesome. Itís a sixer store/ tap room. They have 30+ taps of local and regional craft. They also have a small menu. The right side of the store is a seating area. The left side leads to an l shape where all the coolers are. Nearly everything they sell is in coolers. Most of it can be used to create your own sixer. The signage makes this easy to follow. They also have a large section outside with picnic tables giving it a bit of a bier garden vibe. They also have drive thru service which is pretty awesome. Prices are high mainly because itís PA and the only way you can do this sort of thing is with a bar license. Iíll definitely be back.

Located in a industrial park sort of area. Nice ambiance without being bar-like. 9 4-seat tables, minimal menu. Very good bottle selection, 30 beers on tap on night of my visit. You can get a 16 oz beer, a 1/2 growler, a growler, or you can get a 4x or 6x sampler of 4oz from anything on tap. There were three on tap beers of 30 not available for tasting/sampler but staff still graciously let me taste one. Bottle prices are high, at least the bombers. I bought a 750ml bottle of Ommegang Aphrodite -$18.00. I checked my records when I got home... I had bought the same bottle at Liquor Locker in Hagerstown (about 20 miles away) less than a month ago for $13.99. On the positive side, probably 90% of the bottles are in coolers, and they have many choices for mix-a-sixpack, possibly more choices than anything in this area.

Great selection of bottle craft brews that are hard to find in this area. Also has 30 taps, and they also fill growlers. Ambience isnít much, but its mainly a bottle shop with a few tables set up to go for the tap area. They do serve food, but I havenít had any so canít comment. Also has drive through to get your sixers. Can mix and match six packs. They have picnic tables in the grass outside, have weekly brewery tastings and during the summer have live music on weekends. Biggest downfall for this place is the price for six packs. I understand a mix and match six pack would be higher than normal, but a six of Troegs Hopback was $3 higher than at the bar by my house, (which is only 10 minutes away and still in the same county of PA so I donít think it can be blamed soley on PA taxes. Too much mark up. But good for checking out the taps for tastings, and prices were good on bomber and 750 bottles.

Stopped by to get some Founders, as it is not sold in MD, where I live. They greeted me and asked if it was my first time, and when I said it was, they gave me a free pint. Not bad. They explained how the place works, mostly selling mixed sixes. I did buy a couple of six packs, and filled a growler. Also had lunch and another pint. The lunch was limited selection wise, but was tasty. Ambience is just OK, but it has a drive through service as well. Overall, I like the place, but the prices are high. That is likely to keep me from heading there often. I will go for special events and tastings, but not likely to go very often due to the distance and high prices. I can find most things there other places cheaper. Good service.

I really wanted to like this place, because to my knowledge it is the first bottle shop in Chambersburg to offer a passable selection of craft beer and not the usual commercial swill. Unfortunately, you have to buy your 6-packs two at a time (as in literally one transaction for each two 6-packs) because of Pennsylvaniaís lame liquor laws. Prices are quite high as well (PA taxes). The day we were there, we bought six 6-packs, and you would have thought we were inconveniencing the dude checking us out. Nor was he helpful when we asked a question regarding availability of certain brands in PA. They also have a computer locked onto Beer Advocate, which is thoughtful (and admittedly original), but obviously not my favorite beer rating site, and they wonít let you change the site to get a second opinion. I didnít try the food or fill a growler, so I canít comment on those elements.

Stumbled around looking for this place after seeing their commercial. Great selection and one of the few places in PA you can find individual bottles and 6 packs. Make your own microbrew sixer for $14, but it doesnt include the top shelf stuff. Plenty of breweries represented that are hard to find here. Pretty good import selection, with your Chimays and Orvals, and even some Delerium Tremmens. 30 taps with a nice variety, including Victory Yakmia Glory and Lindemans Framboise. Employees were very polite and helpful. Atmosphere is a little lame, but thatís probably too much to expect from a place that isnt necessarily a bar, just a bottle shop with taps. Not sure on the glassware, both beers we ordered were supposed to be served in shakers, but I didnt see any other glasses behind the bar. I did like the 32 oz growlers though, which is nice because my girlfriend and I dont have enough common beer interests to warrant a 64 oz growler. Best feature? A computer with Beer Advocate (too bad it wasnt RB!) as the homepage so you can look up anything you find. Nice place, Iím really glad I found it but I wish I found it before I graduated from Shippensburg!
